Fatimah Hospital, South Sumatra Province and Muhammadiyah Hospital

Thypus Abdominalior thypoid fever is an acute infectious disease of the small
intestine with symptoms of fever of one week or more accompanied by disorders
of the gastrointestinal tract and disturbances of consciousness caused by Salmonella
typhi. Thypoid fever will be very dangerous if not immediately treated properly and
properly, even leading to death. The methods used are interview methods, physical
examinations, and from other medical supporting data. The subject of the case study
used in this nursing study numbered two patients with the same case and nursing
problems, namely thypoid fever patients with fluid fulfillment problems. The
authors conducted 4 implementations, namely monitoring intake and output,
intravenous fluid drip therapy, oral fluid administration collaboration, and health
education. This case study was conducted at Siti Fatimah Hospital, South Sumatra
Province and Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang. The time of this study was
conducted in April 2021. The results showed that intravenous fluid therapy was
effectively administered in an effort to overcome the lack of fluid volume.
