undergoing chemotherapy with anxiety problems at Muhammadiyah

Cancer is a large group of diseases characterized by abnormal cell growth beyond
normal limits that can then attack parts of the body or spread to other organs.The
World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that there are 18, 1 million new
cancer cases and 9.6 million deaths this year. The purpose of this paper is to
obtain an overview of the implementation of nursing in patients undergoing
Chemotherapy Treatment with anxiety problems at Muhammadiyah Hospital
Palembang. The type of research used is descriptive analytics. The approach used
is the nursing care approach which includes assessment, diagnosis of nursing,
planning, implementation and evaluation. The study subjects were two patients
with breast cancer chemotherapy of the same sex. The research was conducted in
the chemotherapy room of Rs Muhammadiyah Palembang. The research was
conducted by conducting interviews, observations and physical examinations on
March 29, 2021-April 12, 2021.The difficulty experienced by the author is at the
time of fostering a relationship of mutual trust, but after successfully fostering it
with both patients finally seemed cooperative with the nurse.The results showed
that After three days of implementation of Ny.R and Ny.P for anxiety problems,
the anxiety experienced by both patients was resolved. Looking at the results of
this study, it is expected that with the picture of this study, other researchers can
carry out the implementation of nursing in breast cancer chemotherapy patients
with anxiety problems without putting aside other problems in order to improve
the quality of nursing care that focuses on patients.
