Description
Background: Gout Arthritis (Uric Acid) is a crystalline acid that is the end result
of purine metabolism, which is characterized by repeated pain. Pharmacologically
the pain in gout arthritis can be eliminated by taking medication while
nonpharmacologically one of them by means of a warm compress.
Objective:Able to reduce the level of pain in gout arthritis patients by
implementing warm compressed nursing moringa leaves
Research Subject: the subject of the case studied is family I and Family II who
have a history of gout arthrirtis disease aged 38-40 years who are in the area of
Puskesmas 1 Ulu Palembang. this case study was conducted with a home visit at
least 3 times kujungan to provide implementation of family nursing on April 5-11,
2021
Method:The method used is descriptive in the form of a case study for. The
shortness used is the shortness of family nursing care which includes assessment,
diagnosis of nursing, planning, implementation, evaluation.
Result:After conducting the implementation of the same family nursing for 3
days in both clients, the conclusions obtained pain in gout arthritis sufferers
decreased and increased client knowledge about the causes and dietary restrictions
in gout arthritis sufferers
Conclusion:Looking at the results of this research, it is necessary to have family
support in order to carry out a warm compress of moringa leaves independently
and increase knowledge about the causes and dietary restrictions for gout arthritis
sufferers.
