Background: The risk of chronic low self-esteem is a negative self-evaluation and is associated with feelings of weakness, helplessness, hopelessness, fear, vulnerability, fragility, incompleteness, worthlessness, and inadequate loss of self-
confidence and failure to achieve the goals set. express directly or indirectly through moderate to severe levels of anxiety. One implementation that can prevent the risk of low self-esteem is by doing positive affirmation techniques. Research Methods: The design of this study used a descriptive method. The sampling method used was purposive sampling of 2 respondents, namely clients whose children had therapy at Nu_Kids Integrated Therapy with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) problems. The data for this study were taken using interviews and
observation. Results from data collection is presented in the form of tables and narratives. Research Results: The results of this study obtained two respondents who
experienced chronic low self-esteem risk by measuring the self-esteem scale (RSES) questionnaire where after positive affirmation therapy was ca rried out both clients experienced mild self-esteem risk.
Conclusion: The results of this study illustrate the need for implementing positive affirmations to reduce the risk of chronic low self-esteem.
