Description
Background: Sectio caesarea surgery has its own impact on the mother, including
unfulfilled early initiation of breastfeeding (IMD) which causes problems in the
process of breastfeeding for the mother. The ineffectiveness of breastfeeding with
post sectio caesarea, because the effects of anesthesia make it difficult for mothers
to give milk to their babies. One effort that can be done is to do oxytocin massage.
Objectives: To describe the implementation of breastfeeding educational nursing
with oxytocin massage and to analyze the results of implementation in post sc
mothers with ineffective breastfeeding.
Methods: The design of this case study is descriptive in the form of a case study
with a nursing process approach consisting of assessment, nursing diagnosis,
planning, evaluation and documentation. Case study subjects totaled 2 cases in post
SC patients with ineffective breastfeeding at Palembang Muhammadiyah Hospital
in 2023.
Results: The results of the case study after the implementation of breastfeeding
education nursing showed that the results of patient 1 and patient 2 found that the
milk supply increased. There is a significant relationship between breastfeeding and
not effective in providing breastfeeding education with oxytocin massage.
Discussion: The implementation of nursing nursing is not effective in providing
breastfeeding education with oxytocin massage. It can be applied because it is
