Background: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease characterized by hyperglycemia and glucose intolerance that occurs because the pancreas gland cannot produce insulin adequately due to the body cannot use the insulin produced. Diabetes mellitus is an important public health problem, DM is recognized as one of the causes of premature death and disability. DM is one of the four priority non-communicable diseases. Method: The case study used in this study is Descriptive which aims to be able to implement nursing Wound Care in Diabetes Mellitus Patients with Tissue Integrity Disorders Problems at Muhammadiyah Palembang Hospital. The approach to be taken includes nursing care, nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, nursing implementation, and nursing evaluation. Results: The results of the study after the implementation of nursing tissue integrity disorders with wound care are proven, tissue / skin integrity increases, skin / tissue elasticity increases, Skin temperature improves, Pain decreases. Conclusion: Implementation Of Wound Care Nursing Care In Diabetes Mellitus Patients With Impaired Tissue Integrity Problems Can Be Done Because It Can Accelerate The Wound Healing Process In Diabetes Mellitus Patients.
