Background : Typhoid fever occurs worldwide, especially in developing
countries with poor sanitation (WHO, 2014). 80% of typhoid cases in the world
come from Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Laos. Typhoid fever infects 21.6
million people every year (3.6 million people). /1,000 population) with a mortality

population per year) was recorded in Central Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia.
Africa, Latin America, and Oceania (except Australia and New Zealand) as well
as those that are low (<10 per case of 10,000 population per year) in other parts of
the world (WHO, 2014).
Methods: The design of this study is a descriptive study of literature by exploring
the implementation of nursing for children with typhoid fever with hyperthermia
management problems.
Results: After the researchers carried out the nursing implementation of
hyperthermia management in patient 1 and patient 2, the results showed that the
patient's family already knew and was able to carry out hyperthermia management
methods.

provision of nursing care, providing education is also good for parents of patients
with the aim of increasing knowledge so that in the future there will be changes in
