Description
Hidayati, Nurul. 2022. Nursing implementation of murattal therapy in Post Sectio
Caesaea Patients with Acute Pain in Siti Walidah Room, Muhammadiyah
Hospital Palembang in 2022. Diploma III Program, Nursing Department,

Background: Post Sectio caesarea mothers feel postoperative pain due to the
disconnection of tissues, blood vessels, and nerves around the incision which can
cause pain. One way to control pain with non-pharmacological methods is murattal
therapy. The purpose of this study was to reduce pain in post-SC patients.
Method:The design of this research is descriptive in the form of a case study with a
nursing process approach consisting of assessment, diagnosis, planning,
implementation, evaluation and documentation. This case study focuses on the
implementation of post-SC pain through pain observation, giving murattal therapy.
The subjects studied were 2 people with the same nursing problem, namely acute pain
post SC patients in the Siti Walidah Room, Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang.
Results:After the implementation of nursing, the results of murattal therapy helped
reduce post SC pain with a pain reduction response to a scale of 3.
Conclusion:It is hoped that murattal therapy can be applied to post SC patients with
acute pain and can be further developed and become a lesson for further research.
