Description
Background : Asthma is a chronic disease that is not contagious and often has
repeated attacks. Asthma is a serious global health problem that needs to be
addressed. The incidence of asthma sufferers from countries experiencing asthma
disorders so that if it is not controlled it can increase the morbidity rate, the
symptoms will get worse and interfere with daily activities and can be fatal.
Methods : The design of this study used a descriptive method in the form of a
case study, the subjects taken were 2 respondents, namely families with asthma
sufferers with ineffective airway clearance problems in the 23 Ilir Health Center
area of Palembang in March 2022. The data of this study were taken using an
assessment format. , interview, observation. The analysis was carried out
descriptively and presented in a narrative manner.
Results : clients and families seem to understand asthma exercise and can
demonstrate asthma exercise independently
Conclusion : The results of the study illustrate the need for asthma exercise
interventions with ineffective airway clearance problems
