Description
Diabetes mellitus is a type of chronic disease characterized by an
increase in blood sugar levels due to disorders of the body's metabolic
system. The purpose of this study was to conduct and know the
description of nursing care in patients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus
with nutritional deficit problems. The type of research used is
descriptive analysis in the form of nursing care approaches that include
assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and
evaluation. The research subjects were two Diabetes Mellitus patients
with nutritional deficit problems. The study was conducted on march
31 - april 6 at the Muhammadiyah Hospital in Palembang in 2021. Based on the results of research conducted on two patients for 3 days
to overcome nutritional deficits, weight gain and nausea decreased. In
addition, after being educated about the second diabetes mellitus diet, you were able to find out how to correct the diabetes mellitus diet.
