Tuberculosis is a chronic infectious disease that attacks almost all organs of the human body and mostly the lungs. Pulmonary tuberculosis is the accumulation or accumulation of secretions in the upper respiratory tract. This occurs because bacteria damage the lung parenchyma area causing an inflammatory reaction, namely excessive production of secretions that can cause respiratory problems due to airway obstruction, resulting in ineffective airway clearance problems. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to get an overview of nursing implementation actions in pulmonary tuberculosis patients with ineffective airway clearance problems at Palembang Bari Hospital. Implementation of nursing that can be done on the problem of ineffective airway clearance is to adjust the semi-fowler position, perform effective coughing exercises and collaborate in drug therapy. The case study subjects studied were two pulmonary tuberculosis patients with ineffective airway clearance problems. The design of this study used descriptive analytic methods in the form of case studies by conducting nursing care including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation and evaluation by focusing on implementing the problem of ineffective airway clearance in pulmonary tuberculosis patients.
