Advisor (II): Yunike, S.Kep, Ns, M.Kes Typhoid fever is a disease caused by the bacteria Salmonella thypii Typhi disease which spreads throughout the body. Typhoid fever is caused by the salmonella typhii bacteria which is carried into the bloodstream and digestive tract. There are symptoms of typhoid such as persistent fever, weakness, abdominal pain, headache, and loss of appetite (anorexia). This case study aims to be able to carry out the implementation of warm compress nursing in children with typhoid fever with hyperthermia problems, provide collaborative drug therapy, and provide education about bedrest to families of children with typhoid fever patients with hyperthermia problems. The design of this case study is descriptive analytic in the form of a case study to explore the problem of implementing warm compress nursing in typhoid fever children with hyperthermia problems at Bhayangkara Hospital. Palembang in 2021. In this case study, there are two types of data analysis, namely subjective data and objective data. The results of the case study showed that the patient was no longer hot and the patient looked calm. Looking at the results of this study, conclusions can be drawn about implementation with the problem of hyperthermia being resolved and all actions can be taken for both patients. Suggestions from the author are that families know more about children who have hyperthermia and the way to do if children have hyperthermia, namely by doing warm compresses so that patients do not experience disease recurrence.
