Background : Typhoid fever is an acute infectious disease that usually affects the digestive tract in the small intestine caused by Salmonella Typhi infection, usually through consumption of contaminated water or food. This disease is characterized by prolonged fever, headache, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation or sometimes diarrhea.
Purpose of Case Study : The author is able to carry out the implementation of nursing care by feeding in small portions but often in children with typhoid fever with nutritional disorders.
Case Study Method : The design of this study uses a descriptive method in the form of a case study. Cases were taken as many as 2 respondents, namely patients with Typhoid Fever with nutritional disorders at Siti Fatimah Hospital, South Sumatra Province and Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang in 2021.
Conclusion : Overcoming the problem of nutritional disorders in children with typhoid fever and there is no gap between theory and implementation of nursing.
Suggestion : It is expected that the family/patient can apply feeding in small portions but often at home to meet nutritional needs, especially for family members affected by typhoid fever.
