Description
Background: Sectio caesarean is an artificial childbirth that is a fetus born
through incision on the abdominal wall and uterine wall provided that the uterus is
intact and the weight of the fetus is above 500 grams. The purpose of this study
was to reduce pain in post sectio caesarean patients.
Method: This type of research is descriptive in the form of case studies by
conducting nursing care including assessment, diagnosis, intervention,
implementation and evaluation by focusing the implementation on post sectio
caesarean patients with acute pain. case study study subjects studied as many as 2
patients with post sectio caesarean patients with acute pain in hospitals
muhammadiyah palembang.
Results: Based on research conducted by experts on Deep Breath Relaxation
Techniques and Guided Imagery in post sectio caesarean patients with acute pain
obtained from the influence of Deep Breath Relaxation Techniques and Guided
Imagery can reduce pain in post sectio caesarean patients.
Conclusion: It is expected to apply the implementation of deep breath relaxation
techniques and guided imagery in post sectio caesarean patients with acute pain
and can be developed again and become a learning for further research.
