Background: Compliance with taking medication is an individual with a level of

Objective: To obtain an overview of the level of adherence to taking medication and
provide knowledge about the importance of taking medication in patients with
auditory hallucinations sensory perception disorders.
Methods: This research is in the form of a descriptive case study, with the
implementation method using nursing care conducted from April 8, 2021 to April 15,
2021, the subject of the case study was two patients. with the problem of sensory
perception, hallucinations, hearing in the Cempaka room, Ernaldi Bahar Hospital,
South Sumatra Province.
Results: After the implementation in patients, it was found that taking medication
regularly was very effective in controlling hallucinations.
Conclusion: It is hoped that you can gain learning experience and apply theories
regarding the implementation of comprehensive mental nursing, especially regarding
adherence to taking medication in patients with sensory perception disorders, auditory
hallucinations.
