Description
Background: Violent behavior is a response to stressors faced by a person, which is
shown by actual behavior of violence, either to oneself, others or the environment,
verbally or non-verbally, with the aim of hurting others physically and psychologically.
To overcome the recurrence, clients need to learn techniques, namely the
implementation of implementation in the form of implementation strategies 2.
Case study method: The type of research used is descriptive in the form of case studies
to explore the implementation of nursing to control emotions by hitting harmless
objects on schizophrenic clients with behavioral problems. violence at Ernaldi Bahar
Hospital, South Sumatra Province and as for the research subjects who will be studied
are two patients, namely schizophrenic patients with violent behavior problems. The
place of research is the Ernaldi Bahar mental hospital, South Sumatra Province. The
instruments used in this scientific paper are assessment sheets and data from medical
records.
Case study results: The results showed that the implementation of implementation
strategy 2 in schizophrenic patients was that both patients had shown a significant
reduction in the level of violent behavior.
Conclusion: In carrying out the implementation the author involves the client directly
by using standard operating procedures. The results of the evaluation show that the
client is able to control violent behavior by implementing 2 techniques of hitting
harmless objects, in this case the pillow that has been taught by the author.
