(2) : Sherli Shobur, SKM, MKM Background : Rheumatoid Arthritis is an autoimmune disease in which the joints (hands and feet) become inflamed, resulting in painful swelling and can cause damage to the inside of the joint. Pain problems can be reduced through non-pharmacological pain management with rheumatic exercises. Methods: This writing design uses a descriptive method in the form of a case study. Subject taken as many as 2 respondents, namely families with Rheumatoid Arthritis sufferers who experience chronic pain problems in the working area of the 23 Ilir Health Center Palembang, in February-March 2022. The data of this study were taken using questionnaires, interviews and pain assessments from the NRS. The analysis was carried out descriptively and presented in a narrative manner. Results: The results of research from client 1 and client 2 regarding chronic pain problems showed that the implementation of rheumatic exercise was carried out for 4 weeks, 1 week was carried out 3 times, so that the total intervention was 12 times with a duration of 30 minutes for each intervention. The results of the evaluation showed that there was a decrease in the pain scale. On client 1 from a scale of 6 to a scale of 3, while client 2 from a scale of 5 to a scale of 2. So it was concluded that there was a decrease in the pain scale by 3 points. Pemeriksaan kadar kolesterol yang biasa dilakukan dilaboratorium dengan cara spektrofotometri sebagai baku emas. Pemeriksaan dengan spektrofotometri relatif lebih lama, membutuhkan reagen khusus serta mahal. Saat ini, terdapat metode pemeriksaan yang dimana masyarakat dapat melakukan pemeriksaan secara mandiri dengan harga yang lebih terjangkau, cepat dan mudah yaitu dengan menggunakan POCT (point Of care testing). Tujuan Penelitian : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kadar kolesterol total menggunakan metode spektrofotometri dan metode POCT (Point of care testing). Metode Penelitian : Penelitian ini bersifat analitik, dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian diambil dari 30 orang mahasiswa teknologi laboratorium medis poltekkes kemenkes Palembang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Kimia Klinik Jurusan Analis Kesehatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Palembang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Analisis menggunakan Uji Mann-Withney. Hasil Penelitian : Rata-rata kadar kolesterol total menggunakan metode spektrofotometri sebesar 165,83 mg/dL. Sedangkan kadar kolesterol total menggunakan metode POCT sebesar 192,23 mg/dL. Hasil Uji statistic Mann-Withney yang dilakukan didapatkan nilai p Value sebesar p = 0,005191. Kesimpulan : Adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antar kadar kolesterol total menggunakan metode spektrofotometri dan metode POCT. Saran : Disarankan pada Tenaga kesehatan terutama ATLM dan masyarakat bila kadar kolesterol menggunakan POCT sudah melewati batas normal dianjurkan untuk melakukan pemeriksaan konfirmasi menggunakan metode spektrofotometri. Kestabilan fisik gel sangat dipengaruhi oleh gelling agent, salah satu bahan yang dapat digunakan adalah HPMC karena dapat menjaga viskositas gel stabil dalam jangka penyimpanan lama serta memiliki daya lepas obat yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi HPMC yang optimal untuk menghasilkan gel yang stabil dan memenuhi syarat. Gel yang dibuat menggunakan zat aktif kulit buah pisang raja (Musa X paradisiaca AAB) yang memiliki aktivitas antoksidan tinggi sehingga dapat mencegah penuaan dini. Metode: penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental, dimana ekstrak metanol kulit buah pisang raja (Musa X paradisiaca AAB) sebagai zat aktif diformulasikan menjadi sediaan gel dengan memvariasikan konsentrasi HPMC. Konsentrasi zat aktif yang digunakan dalam setiap formula adalah 3,8% serta variasi konsentrasi HPMC yang digunakan adalah 2% pada formula kontrol, 2% pada formula I, 3% pada formula 2 dan 4% pada formula III. Kemudan dilakukan evaluasi sediaan pada penyimpanan suhu kamar dan uji dipercepat (cycling test) meliputi pH, daya sebar, homogenitas, sineresis/swelling, warna, bau dan iritasi kulit. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil yang didapat, pH dan daya sebar sediaan pada uji penyimpanan suhu kamar dan uji dipercepat (cycling test) mengalami penurunan namun masih memenuhi syarat kecuali pada formula III jika ditinjau dari pengujian daya sebar pada hari ke-21 dan ke-28 tidak memenuhi syarat. Pada pembuatan sediaan lotion sering didapat sediaan yang tidak stabil karena faktor emulgator yang digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi asam stearat yang optimal untuk menghasilkan sediaan hand and body lotion yang stabil dan memenuhi syarat. Hand and body lotion yang dibuat menggunakan zat aktif ekstrak daun bidara (Ziziphus mauritiana L.) yang berfungsi sebagai antioksidan untuk mencegah penuaan dini. Metode :Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental, dimana ekstrak daun bidara (Ziziphus mauritiana L.) sebagai zat aktif yang diformulasikan menjadi sediaan hand and body lotion dengan memvariasikan konsentrasi asam stearat. Konsentrasi zat aktif yang digunakan dalam setiap formula adalah 5% serta konsentrasi asam stearat yang digunakan adalah 4% pada formula I, 5% pada formula II, 6% pada formula III. Kemudian dilakukan evaluasi sediaan pada suhu kamar dan uji dipercepat (Cycling Test) meliputi pH, daya sebar, pemisahan fase, homogenitas, tipe emulsi, warna, bau dan iritasi kulit. Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil yang didapat, pH dan daya sebar sediaan pada kedua uji penyimpanan mengalami penurunan namun masih memenuhi syarat. Penderita dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki 71.4% dan perempuan 60% memiliki kadar hematokrit rendah. Penderita dengan konsumsi obat kategori I 75% dan kategori II 25% memiliki kadar hematokrit rendah. Penderita dengan lama pengobatan tahap awal 60% dan tahap lanjutan 68.4% memiliki kadar hematokrit rendah. Kesimpulan: Didapatkan persentase kadar hematokrit pada penderita tuberkulosis yang mengonsumsi obat anti tuberkulosis di Puskesmas Nagaswidak relatif rendah, sangat disarankan untuk berkala melakukan medical check up agar pengaruh konsumsi obat terhadap tubuh dapat diketahui segera.
