School children are a group that easily receives nutrition education through their schools. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of booklet media on respondents' balanced nutrition knowledge. The study design was a quantitative Quasy-experimental one group Pre-test post-test. The research sample with a total sampling technique is all children of grade V 23 Lahat state primary school. The measuring instrument used was a questionnaire. Post-test it was found that the results of the lack of knowledge were 0 students (0%), Quite as many as 18 students (36%) and good as many as 32 (64%). Research shows that there is an increase in student knowledge after counseling using the media booklet. Analysis using the T-test showed significant results between the results of the t-test of 0,000 <0.05 t-table. The results showed a significant increase in the Balanced Nutrition Knowledge after being counseled with the Booklet media. There were a significant difference in the level of balanced nutrition knowledge before and after counseling using the media booklet. Counseling by using effective booklet media to increase respondents' balanced nutrition knowledge. Young women can begin to be given knowledge and understanding about the importance of fulfilling nutrition as a teenager. The aim was to increase knowledge and attitude about stunting in adolescent girls at SMA Negeri 5 Manggul village, Lahat district. Methods: The method is quantitative with a Quasy Experimental One Group Pretest Posttest design, i.e., before the intervention, a pretest is carried out, then after the intervention, a posttest is carried out. The Sampling is total Sampling. This research was conducted at SMA N 5 Manggul village, Kab. Lahat from July to December 2021. Results: There is an increase in knowledge and attitudes, there is an increase of good knowledge values after giving the intervention to 56%, and the value of good attitude at 60%. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of providing nutrition education with booklet media on the knowledge and attitudes of young women. Statistical tests were carried out using the Paired Samples T-test, the value of p = 0.000 showed that the level of knowledge about Stunting before and after being given nutrition education through booklet media and showed that there was an effect of providing Nutrition Education through booklet media on the level of knowledge about Stunting (p = 0.000). Conclusion: The Benefit is giving the effect of nutrition education with booklet media in increasing knowledge and attitudes about stunting in adolescent girls. Aktivitas fisik yang kurang disamping masukan makanan padat energi yang berlebihan, pergeseran pola makan tradisional ke pola makan barat terutama dalam bentuk yaitu jenis makanan yang tinggi energi, tinggi kolestrol, tinggi natrium namun rendah serat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan zat gizi makro, frekuensi konsumsi dan aktifitas fisik dengan kejadian obesitas pada remaja di Palembang. Metode:Jenis penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan rancangan case control, Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Methodist 2 Palembang, sebanyak 60 orang yang terbagi sebagai sampel kasus dan control. Data diananlisis secara univariat dan bivariate dengan menggunakan uji statistik Chi Square dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95 %. Hasil:Asupan Energi, Lemak, Karbohidirat, konsumsi dan aktifitas fisik berhubungan dengan kejadian obesitas, dengan p value < 0,05, kecuali asupan Protein p value > 0,05. Kesimpulan:Asupan gizi makro yang berlebih dan keseringan mengkonsumsi serta kurangnya beraktifitas fisik dapat menyebabkan seseorang menjadi obesitas. Indonesia merupakan negara yang menempati urutan ketujuh di dunia dengan jumlah penderita diabetes sebanyak 10 juta jiwa. Perencanaan makan yang tidak baik menyebabkan tidak adanya keseimbangan asupan zat gizi pada penderita Diabetes mellitus. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui asupan indeks glikemik pangan, penilaian status gizi dan kadar glukosa darah pada penderita Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2 di Puskesmas Sosial Kota Palembang. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan rancangan potong lintang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling sebanyak 80 orang. Data asupan makanan responden diperoleh dengan wawancara dengan metode food record 3 x 24 jam. Lingkar pinggang diukur menggunakan pita pengukur dengan ketelitian 0,1 cm. Komposisi lemak tubuh diukur dengan menggunakan Body Index Analyzer (BIA). Pengukuran kadar glukosa darah dengan menggunakan alat digital glucometer. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 60% kadar glukosa darah pasien adalah hiperglikemia. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan indeks glikemik pangan dengan kadar glukosa darah (nilai p = 0,018). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara lingkar pinggang dengan kadar glukosa darah (nilai p = 0,0005). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara komposisi lemak tubuh dengan kadar glukosa darah (p value = 0,021). Kesimpulan: Asupan indeks glikemik pangan yang tinggi, lingkar pinggang yang besar (obesitas) dan komposisi lemak tubuh yang obesitas akan menyebabkan kadar glukosa darah tinggi.
