Selain itu, lambung bisa mengalami kerusakan iritasi dan peradangan yang mengikis lapisan lambung yang menyebabkan nyeri. cara yang dilakukan untuk mengurangi nyeri pada gastritis maka cara yang efektif adalah terapi relaksasi otot progresif Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk mengetahui penerapan terapi relaksasi otot progresif untuk mengurangi nyeri pada pasien gastritis diwilayah kerja puskesmas simpang periuk kota lubuklinggau tahun 2021 Metode Penelitian :Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan meode studi kasus subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 orang dewasa sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan esklusi yang mengalami penyakit gastritis dengan masalah nyeri ulu hati dengan skala 4-6,berjenis kelamin perempuan,berusia 20- 35,dapat berkomunikasi dengan baik ,tidak menderita kompikasi penyakit lain dan tidak mengkonsumsi obat terlebih dahulu sebelum tindakan dilakukan.Hasil Penelitian:Selama dilakukan penerapan terapi relaksasi otot progresif mampu memberikan efek nyaman dan membantu dalam mengatasi nyeri Kesimpulan : Penerapan terapi relaksasi otot progresif untuk mengurangi nyeri pada pasien gastritis.
