Dalam melaksanakan fungsinya apotek melayani obat resep dan obat non resep(swamedikasi). Salah satu contoh swamedikasi yang dilayani seperti Obat Wajib Apotek (OWA). OWA yaitu obat keras yang dapat diperoleh tanpa resep dokter dan diserahkan oleh apoteker dan disertai informasi, namun dalam prakteknya hanya terdapat sebagian kecil apoteker yang melayani Obat Wajib Apotek, dan sebagian besarnya di layani oleh Tenaga Teknis Kefarmasian tanpa disertai informasi, tentu saja hal ini tidak sesuai dengan keputusan menteri kesehatan no. 347 tahun 1990 dan hal ini dapat menjadi salah satu factor yang dapat mamicu terjadinya medication error. Metode : Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional (satu waktu). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Tenaga Teknis Kefarmasian di seluruh Apotek Kimia Farma Palembang. Data diolah menggunakan program SPSS dengan uji statistik yaitu uji crosstabs chi-square. Hasil : pengetahuan yang diukur yaitu pengetahuan mengenai definisi antibiotik, Tenaga Kefarmasian yang melayani Obat Wajib Apotek, jenis Obat Wajib Apotek, batas pemberian dalam pemberian Obat Wajib Apotek, Pencatatan identitas pasien, Penjelasan indikasi, dan perilaku yang diamati meliputi informasi indikasi, informasi aturan pakai, informasi dosis, informasi efek samping, pencatatan identitas pasien, batas pemberian Obat Wajib Apotek, Tenaga Kefarmasian yang melayani Obat Wajib Apotek, pengetahuan TTK di Apotek Kimia Farma Palembang masih dikategorikan rendah dan perilaku TTK di Apotek Kimia Farma Palembang masih dikategorikan kurang baik. DENGAN VARIASI TRIETANOLAMIN DAN UJI KESTABILAN FISIKNYA Description An account of the resource Latar Belakang: Daun Jarak (Ricinus communis L.) adalah tanaman lokal Indonesia yang memiliki kandungan flavonoid, saponin, tannin dan vitamin C yang dapat menangkal radikal bebas penyebab kulit kering. Penggunaannya dimasyarakat luas sudah banyak digunakan untuk merawat kulit agar terhindar dari bahaya radikal bebas, untuk itu perlu dikembangkan suatu formulasi sediaan lotion agar penggunaanya lebih optimal dan praktis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memformulasikan daun jarak sebagai lotion yang stabil secara fisik. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental yaitu ekstrak kental daun jarak yang diperoleh dengan mengekstraksi daun jarak dengan cara maserasi dengan pelarut methanol 70% lalu didestilasi vakum. Formulasi lotion dibuat dengan memvariasikan TEA sebagai pengemulsi dengan konsentrasi 1,00%, 0,75% dan 0,50%. Serta dilakukan uji kestabilan fisik lotion selama 28 hari penyimpanan meliputi pH, homogenitas, viskositas, pemisahan fase, daya sebar, tipe emulsi, warna, bau dan iritasi kulit. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rendemen ekstraksi yang diperoleh sebesar 21,16%. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran, pH formula I berkisar 6,79-6,58, formula II berkisar 6,92-6,70, dan formula III berkisar 6,87-6,7. Hasil pengukuran viskositas formula I berkisar 3554,2-2925,4 cp, formula II berkisar 4046,0-3578,4 cp, dan formula III berkisar 4107,1-3731,9 cp. Hasil pengukuran daya sebar formula I berkisar 5,4-6,3 cm, formula II berkisar 5,2-6,1 cm, dan formula III berkisar 5,0-5,7 cm. Untuk hasil pengukuran pH dan viskositas terjadi penurunan pada masa penyimpanan kemudian untuk hasil pengukuran daya sebar terjadi penaikan pada masa penyimpanan, tetapi masih memasuki range ketentuan syarat kestabilan fisik lotion sehingga hasil pengukuran untuk pH, viskositas dan daya sebar dapat dikatakan stabil dan memenuhi syarat. Kemudian ditinjau dari uji kestabilan fisik lotion dari ketiga formula yang ditinjau dari homogenitas, pemisahan fase, tipe emulsi, warna, bau dan iritasi kulit dapat dikatakan tidak mengalami perubahan dan memenuhi syarat. Kesimpulan: Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat dikatakan bahwa daun jarak (Ricinus communis L.) dapat diformulasikan menjadi lotion yang memenuhi syarat dan stabil secara fisik dengan kosentrasi TEA 0,50%. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan pembagian kuesioner kepadaseluruh pasien penderita Diabetes Melitus yang berobat pada tanggal 6 Maret- 5April 2017 di Rumah Sakit Islam Siti Khadijah Palembang. Hasil: Dari 51 responden terdapat 86,2% akseptabilitas terhadap obat oral dengan jumlah 32 responden, sedangkan 13,7 % akseptabilitas terhadap obat kombinasi dengan jumlah 19 responden.
