Violent behavior is a form of behavior that aims to injure oneself, others and the environment both physically and psychologically in the form of behavior and verbally. Method : The type of research used is descriptive in the form of case studies to explore the implementation of nursing to control emotions by assertive training on schizophrenic clients with behavioral problems. Violence at Ernaldi Bahar Hospital, South Sumatra Province and as for the research subjects who will be studied are two patients, namely schizophrenic patients with violent behavior problems. The place of research is the Ernaldi Bahar mental hospital, South Sumatra Province. Results : The results showed that the implementation of implementation strategy 3 in schizophrenic patients was that both patients had shown a significant reduction in the level of violent behavior. Conclusion : It is hoped that how to control emotions with assertive trainning can be developed again and become learning for further research. Diperlukan peningkatan kemampuan penderita dalam mengontrol halusinasi dengan cara bercakap-cakap agar penderita mampu beradaptasi dan menjalani aktivitas sehari-hari secara mandiri. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan orang dengan gangguan jiwa (ODGJ) dalam bercakap-cakap sehingga dapat mengontrol halusinasinya. Metoda pelaksanaan kegiatan pegabdian meliputi melatih dan mendampingi penderita melalui tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Penggunaan media audiovisual serta metoda ceramah interaktif dan demonstrasi diupayakan untuk mengedukasi dan mendampingi penderita dalam menghardik halusinasi. Mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah enam penderita yang ditampung di tempat penampungan gelandangan di Sumatera Selatan. Secara bergantian, mereka dilatih satu persatu untuk bercakap-cakap sambil memperagakannya kembali beberapa kali. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui observasi serta menanyakan perasaan penderita setelah dilatih bercakap-cakap. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian memberikan hasil adanya peningkatan kemampuan penderita dalam bercakap-cakap sebagai upaya untuk mendistraksi halusinasi. Memberdayakan penderita yang dilakukan secara berkesinambungan dapat membantu mengubah perilaku penderita melalui upaya pembiasaan diri dalam rangka membentuk perilaku baru. Lansia merupakan kelompok rentan mengalami gejala yang lebih berat jika terinfeksi covid-19, mereka perlu disiapkan untuk tetap bertahan pada kondisi kesehatan yang optimal. Tujuan: Studi ini mengeksplorasi persepsi dan kesiapan lansia dalam menerima vaksin covid-19. Metode: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bulan Januari sampai dengan Maret 2021 di lima posyandu lansia di Kota Palembang dengan desain fenomenogi deskriptif, lansia dipilih dengan menggunakan tehnik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan pertanyaan terbuka dan catatan lapangan. Pedoman Wawancara disiapkan berdasarkan tujuan, selanjutnya data tersebut di transipkan dan di analisis dengan metode Colaizzi. Hasil: Penelitian menghasilkan delapan tema yaitu tidak percaya dengan covid-19; vaksin Covid-19 tidak ada gunanya; vaksin melindungi dari Covid-19; makin banyak yang meninggal setelah divaksin; takut terhadap metode memasukan vaksin melalui suntikan; Dukungan keluarga dan teman-teman; mencari berita tentang vaksin; ada penyakit bawaan. Persepsi lansia terhadap vaksin dipengaruhi oleh informasi yang dierima dari media dan lingkungan dan ini mempengruhi penerimaan terhadap program vaksin. Saran: Disarankan pemerintah mencanangkan program untuk memberikan informasi secara masiv kepada masyarakat tentang urgensi vaksin Covid-19.
