Hallucinations Patients at the Mitra Mulia Banyuasin Foundation, South
Sumatra. Diploma III Nursing Study Program, Department of Nursing
Poltekkes Kemenkes Palembang. Supervisor (I): Dr. Ira Kusumawaty,
S.Kp, M.Kes, MPH. Supervisor (II): Sri Martini, S.Pd, S.Kp, M.Kes
Background : Patients who experience problems with auditory hallucinations if
not handled properly can pose a risk to the safety of the patient and others.
Conversing with other people is one of the efforts that can be done to reduce the
appearance of hallucinations in patients. However, research exploring the benefits
of conversing is still very limited.
Methods : This case study study aims to describe the implementation of
conversational nursing techniques for auditory hallucinations patients conducted
at the Mitra Mulia Banyuasin Foundation, South Sumatra. This case study
research is descriptive, with the implementation method using nursing care. The
research data was taken by means of the assessment process, interviews, and
direct observation. Conducted from January 31 to February 06, 2022. The subjects
of the case study were three patients with auditory hallucinations.
Results : After implementation on patients, it was found that speaking was
effective in controlling auditory hallucinations. However, the inhibiting factor
during implementation was that the researcher could not see directly the patient
applying the way of conversing when his hallucinations appeared.
Conclusion : Conversation is effective to control the hallucinations experienced
by patients because it can divert patients from listening to unreal voices into real
conversations.
Keywords : Conversation, Auditory Hallucinations, Schizophrenia.

<text>Background: Pregnant women experience labor pains during the 1st stage of the active phase
due to uterine contractions that cause cervical dilation. Nurses have a big role in controlling
pain with non-pharmacological methods, one of which is the Counter Pressure technique. The
pressure exerted in this technique causes the gate control to close and the pain impulses cannot
be transmitted to the cerebral cortex. Purpose of the case study: The author is able to carry
out the implementation of nursing in phase 1 inparticular mothers with labor pains. Case study
method: The design of this case study is descriptive in the form of a case study with a nursing
process approach consisting of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation,
evaluation and documentation. This case study focuses on the implementation of the Phase I
Active Pain of Childbirth through observing pain, giving and teaching counter pressure
techniques and providing education about labor pain. The subject of the case study consisted
of two cases with the problem of active phase 1 childbirth pain at the Muhammadiyah Hospital
Palembang in 2021. The results of the case study: The counter pressure technique has an
effective effect on controlling the pain experienced by the inpartum patient when the first stage
is active. Conclusion: All nursing plans that have been prepared based on theory can be done
in the field on patients. Suggestion: The patient/family can apply the counter pressure
technique independently to improve health status.</text>

Rebuking Schizophrenic Patients With Sensory Perception Problems
Hearing Hallucinations At the Mitra Mulia Banyuasin Foundation, South
Sumatra Province. Diploma III Nursing Program, Department of Nursing
Poltekkes Kemenkes Palembang. Supervisor (1): Sri Martini,
S.Pd,S.Kp,M.kes. Supervisor (II): Dr. Ira Kusumawaty, S.Kp, M.Kes,
MPH
Background : Auditory hallucinations are hallucinations that seem to hear voices,
most often heard are people's voices, sounds can range from simple voices to
voices of people talking, clients can hear people talking about what the client is
thinking and ordering them to do something and sometimes do things that are
dangerous and unwanted by the client.
Methods: The design of this research is descriptive in the form of a case study.
The approach used is a nursing care approach which includes assessment, nursing
diagnoses, planning, implementation, evaluation and nursing documentation. The
subjects in this study were three patients with the same criteria, namely auditory
hallucinations. The place of this research was carried out at the Mitra Mulia
Banyuasin Foundation, South Sumatra Province.
Results: Implementation of distraction techniques can help patients to reject the
hallucinations they have experienced. All three patients have shown a reduction in
the level of auditory hallucinations.
Conclusion: It is hoped that this way of rejecting hallucinations by rebuking
distraction can be developed again and become a lesson for further research.

<text>Background: Auditory hallucinations, if not treated quickly, can have a very
bad impact on the patient, namely causing violent behavior so that it endangers
the people around him. Rebuking can be one solution to minimize the
appearance of auditory hallucinations in patients.
Methods: This research was conducted at the Mitra Mulia Foundation. This
study aims to provide an overview of the rebuke technique in an effort to break
hallucinations in schizophrenic patients. This case study research is descriptive.
The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the inclusion criteria of
experiencing stage I auditory hallucinations (Comforting) and not suffering from
physical pain. The data was obtained from the results of direct observations and
interviews conducted on January 31 to February 6, 2022.
Results: The results showed that rebuking can control the patient's whispering.
The inhibiting factor is not being able to evaluate when the patient is applying
the rebuke technique when the hallucinations appear.
Conclusion: Rebuking hallucinations while covering the ears can shift
concentration from the source of the hallucination to the real facts.

menurun, konsentrasi membaik, pola tidur membaik, kontak mata membaik.

<text>Amelia, Jenny (2022). Nursing Implementation of Distraction Techniques in
Children with Dengue Fever with Anxiety at Siti Fatimah Hospital
Palembang in 2022. Diploma III Nursing Program, Department of Nursing,
Poltekkes, Ministry of Health, Palembang. Supervisor (I) Jawiah,
S.Pd,.S.Kep,.M.Kes. Supervisor (II) Rehana, S.Pd.,S.Kep,.M.Kes.
Background: Based on Medical Record data at Siti Fatimah Hospital Palembang,
there were 20 children aged 3-6 years who experienced Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever
from 2019 to 2021. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever children must immediately receive
invasive treatment by being hospitalized (hospitalization), the main response The
most common when a child undergoes hospitalization is anxiety (anxiety). The
level of anxiety in children can be overcome by providing therapy that is able to
create a sense of security and comfort for children, one of which is the provision of
drawing and coloring distraction techniques. Drawing and coloring aims to make
children happy, not afraid and can be used as an entertainment when children are
hospitalized. Methods: This case study design is a descriptive design in the form
of a case study with a nursing process approach consisting of assessment, nursing
diagnosis, planning (intervention), implementation (implementation), evaluation
and documentation. The case study subjects were two pediatric patients with
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, patient 1 aged 3 years 5 months and patient 2 aged 5
years 9 months who experienced the same nursing problem, namely anxiety. This
case study was conducted at Siti Fatimah Hospital Palembang in 2022. The data
collection technique was by means of observation, interviews and filling out case
study instruments for 3 days in the treatment room. Results: The implementation
of nursing provided in the form of distraction techniques of drawing and coloring
has an effect on reducing the anxiety experienced by pediatric patients during
hospitalization. Anxiety scores decreased significantly after drawing and coloring
distraction techniques were applied. In patient 1, there was a moderate decrease in
anxiety and in patient 2, there was a moderate decrease in anxiety. Suggestion: It
is hoped that the patient's family can recognize the signs of anxiety in children so
that parents are able to manage anxiety in children. The results of this case study
are also expected to be a source of information and learning references to develop
science and technology, especially in pediatric nursing regarding the
implementation of Anxiety Reduction and Distraction Techniques (Drawing and
Coloring) nursing with anxiety problems due to hospitalization in children.

<text>Background: DHF disease requires treatment from health workers so that invasive treatment is needed which requires the patient to be hospitalized. A common
response in preschool children during hospitalization is anxiety. To overcome the problem of hospitalization anxiety can be given with the Lego play therapy
distraction technique which can multiply the concentration of children who previously felt anxious and afraid due to the pain. Objective: To describe and analyze the provision of distraction techniques through lego play therapy for DHF children with anxiety problems due to hospitalization. Methods: The research
design is a descriptive design in the form of a case study. The research subjects used 2 people with the same criteria, namely preschool-aged Dengue Fever pediatric
patients who experienced an anxiety nursing problem. This case study was conducted at the Muhammadiyah Palembang Hospital in 2023. Data collection
techniques by means of interviews, observations, and filling out case study instruments for 3 days in the treatment room. Result: Nursing implementation
provided in the form of distraction techniques playing lego shows a decrease in anxiety levels marked by verbalization of decreased confusion, verbalization of
worry due to conditions faced decreased, restless behavior decreased, tense behavior decreased, concentration improved, sleep patterns improved. Suggestion: for better implementation analysis results, it is expected to be carried out on subjects of different genders.</text>
