Populasi Penelitian ini adalah pasien dengan Diagnosa Medis Diabetes Mellitus di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Simpang Periuk. Subjek penelitian ini diambil dua orang. Hasil Penelitian: Hasil setelah dilakukan Senam Tai Chi 1 kali sehari selama 3 hari, didapatkan hasil kedua subjek mengalami penurunan Kadar Glukosa Darah. Subjek I Mengalami penurunan kadar glukosa darah dari 235 Mg/DL menjadi 212 Mg/DL, Serta Subjek II Juga mengalami penurunan kadar Glukosa Darah dari 290 Mg/DL Menjadi 200 Mg/DL. Kesimpulan: Ada Penurunan Kadar Glukosa Darah sebelum dan sesudah pemberian Senam Tai Chi Pada Pasien I dan II. Don) TERHADAP PENURUNAN KADAR ASAM URAT DARAH TIKUS PUTIH JANTAN (Rattus norvegicus) Description An account of the resource ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Penyakit asam urat sudah dikenal sejak zaman Yunani dan Romawi kuno yang merupakan suatu penyakit yang diakibatkan karena penimbunan kristal monosodium urat di dalam tubuh. Menurut penelitian Daun tapak dara (Catharantus roseus (L) G. Don) mengandung flavonoid jenis quercetin, isorhamnetin dan kaempferol yang merupakan jenis flavonoid, yang dapat menghambat kerja enzim xantin oxidase dan menangkap radikal bebas superoksidase yang dapat menurunkan kadar asam urat darah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meneliti apakah ekstrak etanol Daun Tapak Dara (Catharantus roseus (L) G. Don) mampu menurunkan kadar asam urat darah tikus putih jantan (Rattus norvegicus). Metode : Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental dengan menggunakan hewan percobaan tikus putih jantan (Rattus norvegicus) sebanyak 6 kelompok yang diberi perlakuan, kelompok I (kontrol Normal), kelompok II (kontrol Negatif yang diberi suspensi Na CMC 1%), kelompok III (kontrol Positif diberi suspensi Allupurinol dosis 1,8 mg/200grBB), kelompok IV (Ekstrak Daun Tapak Dara dosis I 40mg/200gBB), kelompok V (Ekstrak Daun Tapak Dara dosis II 80mg/200gBB), kelompok VI (Ekstrak Daun Tapak Dara dosis III 160mg/200gBB). Sebagai peningkat kadar asam urat darah pada awal penelitian tikus diinduksi Hati Ayam dan Urea 2% yang diberikan secara oral dengan dosis 10mg/200grBB agar terjadi kondisi Hiperurisemia. Pengukuran kadar asam urat dilakukan mulai hari ke-0, 3, 6, 9, 12 menggunakan alat Autocheck. Hasil : Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok kontrol negatif dengan kelompok kontrol positif, dosis I, dosis II, dan dosis III (p<0,05), sedangkan pada dosis III dengan kelompok kontrol positif tidak ada perbedaan (p>0,05). Dosis III 160mg/200gBB berpotensi dalam menurunkan kadar asam urat pada tikus putih jantan (Rattus norvegicus). Kesimpulan : Ekstrak Daun Tapak Dara (Catharanthus rosesus (L.) G. Don) dosis III 160mg/200gBB mampu menurunkan kadar asam urat tikus putih jantan (Rattus norvegicus) seperti Allopurinol dosis 1,8 mg/200grBB.
