This research was conducted on April 5, 2021 - April 8, 2021 at the Siti Fatimah Regional General Hospital, South Sumatra Province. Based on the results of research conducted on the two patients for 3 days to overcome the nutritional deficit, there was an increase in appetite and decreased nausea and after being given education about the DM diet, the two patients were able to know how to correct the DM diet. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan teknik distraksi pada gangguan pola tidur pada anak usia sekolah dengan demam tifoid di Rs Dr, Sobirin kabupaten Musi Rawas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan studi kasus. Subyek penelitian ini adalah dua orang subyek dengan demam tifoid. Tindakan dilakukan secara langsung dengan pengkajian awal pasien, dan selanjutnya intervensi penerapan story telling untuk mengatasi gangguan pola tidur anak. Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa setelah dilakukan tindakan keperawatan selama tiga hari berturut-turut frekuensi tidur anak dan kualitas tidur anak meningkat. Kepada institusi RS Dr. Sobirin agar dapat menerapkan teknik distraksi story telling untuk meningkatkan kualitas tidur pada anak. Secara empiris daunnya berkhasiat sebagai obat sariawan, antifungi, obat luka bakar, dan penurunan gula darah. Khasiat dari tanaman disebabkan oleh kandungan kimia dari tanaman tersebut, yang dapat diperoleh dengan cara ekstraksi menggunakan pelarut yang sesuai. Tingkat kepolaran pelarut menentukan jenis dan jumlah senyawa yang dapat diekstrak dari bahan, pelarut akan mengekstrak senyawa-senyawa yang mempunyai sifat kepolaran yang sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji perbandingan rendemen dan kandungan kimia ekstrak daun jambu mete dengan kepolaran pelarut yang berbeda. Metode Penelitian : Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif yaitu mengukur perbandingan rendemen dan kandungan kimia ekstrak daun jambu mete (Anacardium occidentale L.) dengan kepolaran pelarut yang berbeda. Hasil : Didapatkan rendemen ekstrak n-heksan 4,10%, rendemen etil asetat 6,47%, dan rendemen etanol 13,88%. Hasil uji kandungan kimia menunjukkan n- heksan mengandung steroid dan tanin, ekstrak etil asetat mengandung terpenoid dan tanin, sedangkan ekstrak etanol mengandung flavonoid, saponin, terpenoid, alkaloid, dan tanin. Kesimpulan : Ekstrak etanol menghasilkan rendemen dan kandungan kimia yang lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan ekstrak etil asetat dan n-heksan. Description An account of the resource Background: In children with typhoid fever, the problem that often arises is hyperthermia, so management is needed to reduce hyperthermia in order to prevent other complications such as seizures. Management that can be done one of them is with warm compresses, warm compresses are easy, safe and effective management to reduce hyperthermia in children with typhoid fever. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the effect of giving warm compresses to reduce body temperature in children with typhoid fever. Methods: This case study uses a descriptive design to explore the implementation of nursing management of hyperthermia with warm compresses in 2 children with typhoid fever aged 5-11 years with hyperthermia. The approach used is the nursing care approach given for 3 consecutive days. Results: The results were obtained on the first day of study, patient 1 had a high fever of 39°C, his body was hot, and the fever fluctuated. Whereas patient 2 had a high fever of 38.9°C, his body was hot, and the fever fluctuated. After applying warm compresses for 3 consecutive days, the result was a periodic decrease in body temperature in the two patients who experienced decreased hyperthermia so that the body temperature returned to the normal range.
