Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penerapan Health Belief Model (HBM) dalam upaya pencegahan keputihan patologis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang pada bulan September 2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental dengan design Pretest-Posttest with control group. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 54 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling dan dibagi menjadi kelompok kontrol dan intervensi. Data dikumpulkan dalam dua tahap, sebelum dan setelah intervensi pendidikan dengan menggunakan dua instrumen yaitu karakteristik responden dan kuesioner komponen HBM. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji Wilxocon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan perilaku pencegahan keputihan patologis setelah diberikan intervensi edukasi berbasis HBM pada kelompok intervensi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol ditinjau dari persepsi "kerentanan, keseriusan, manfaat, hambatan, isyarat untuk bertindak dan keyakinan diri (p<0,001).
