Nursing DIII Program, Department of Nursing Poltekkes Palembang Health Ministry, Advisor (I) : Devi Mediarti, S.Pd., S.Kep., M.Kes., Advisor (II): Syokumawena, S.Kep., M.Kes
Background: Appendicitis is an inflammation of the appendix (worm tubers). One of the management of appendicitis is appendectomy surgery. Complaints that often arise after surgery are acute pain. To overcome acute pain, nursing implementation is carried out on these post appendicitis surgery patients. Method: This research design uses descriptive method in the form of case studies. The approach used is the nursing implementation approach. This research was conducted to compare two respondents who had been given the implementation. Results: The results showed that after nursing implementation was carried out, it was found that the patient's pain was reduced, marked by a decrease in the pain scale, in patient 1 the pain scale decreased from 5 to 2 and in patient 2 the pain scale decreased from 6 to 2. Conclusion: Seeing the results of this study, it is necessary to implement nursing assessing pain, deep breath relaxation techniques, semi-fowler position and collaborative drug administration to reduce acute pain felt by patients.</text>

Wulandari, Yuni. (2021). Implementation of Nursing for 1st Trimester Pregnant Women with Emesis Gravidarum with Nutritional Deficits at Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang in 2021.Diploma III Nursing Program, Department of Nursing, Poltekkes Kemenkes Palembang. Advisor (I): Dr. Rosnani, M.Kep, Sp.Mat. Advisor (II): Ns.Herawati Jaya, S.Kep, M.Kes
Emesis Gravidarum is a feeling of nausea and vomiting that occurs in the first trimester of pregnancy (0-12 weeks) which occurs at any time and continues until the age of 14-16 weeks after which it subsides and disappears. Until now it is not known what causes it, but it is thought to be caused by an increase in sex hormones produced during pregnancy. Nursing implementation for nutritional deficits is to assess nutritional status, perform oral hygienes and diet education. The research design used a descriptive method. The subjects of the study were 2 patients of 1st trimester pregnant women who had cases of emesis gravidarum with nutritional deficit problems. This research is located at the Midwifery Polyclinic of Muhammadiyah Palembang Hospital and was conducted on April 14, 2021. The research data were collected using a physical assessment and examination format. After being tabulated, the existing data were analyzed in a narrative manner with the nursing care format. The results of the research obtained after implementing the implementation on Mrs. S and Mrs. I, the problem of nutritional deficits felt by both patients was reduced. From the results of this study, it is hoped that it can add insight to the patient and the patient's family.</text>

Diploma III Nursing Program, Department Of Nursing Poltekkes Kemenkes Palembang. Advisor (I) : Rehana, S.Pd, S.Kep, M.Kes. Advisor (II) : Yunike, S.Kep, Ners, M.Kes.
Background : Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a viral disease transmitted by the aedes aegypti moquito which spreads very quickly. DHF is still the leading cause of child mortality. DHF often occurs in children aged less than 15 years, with the highest attack rate in the age of 5-9 years. Method : This tyoe of reseacrh design used is descriptive in case studies. This approach used is the nursing process which consists of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing. Subjects in this study consisted of 2 people with criteria suffering from DHF grade I and of the same gender. This research was conducted at Bhayangkara Palembang Hospital on 21-26 April 2021. Result : Nursing implementation in the form of giving warm comptrsses shows that the patient’s fever has decreased. Nursing implementation in the form of giving fluids orally showed the results of dehydration did not occur. Carrying out health education in the patient’s family shows the results that the patient’s family understands about DHF and how to handle the patient independently. Conclusion : After implementing nursing for 3 days, the patient’s hyperthermi resolved. Suggestion : Expected to implement and develop the implementation of hyperthermi management nursing in children with DHF.</text>

<text>Bronchial asthma is a disorder in the form of chronic inflammation (inflammation) of the airways that causes bronchial hyperactivity, causing recurrent episodic symptoms of wheezing, shortness of breath, heaviness in the chest, and coughing especially, at night or early morning. The general objective is to be able to implement Family Nursing Implementation for Bronchial Asthma Clients with Ineffective Breathing Problems in the Work Area of the Social Puskesmas in 2021.
The design used is descriptive in the form of case studies, Samples taken were 2 people with the same medical diagnosis, namely bronchial asthma with ineffective breathing pattern problems in the working area of the Palembang Social Puskesmas, on April 05, 2021 - April 09, 2021.
The results showed that patient 1 and patient 2 could understand the information provided and apply the semi-fowler position, warm drinking water, simple inhalation of eucalyptus oil and health education so that the breathing pattern was less effective.
The results showed that the family social support that many families give to people with bronchial asthma is that the family looks very enthusiastic about the education given. Seeing the results of this study, it is necessary to have family social support in order to minimize the frequency of recurrences experienced by Bronchial Asthma sufferers.
Keywords: Bronchial asthma, ineffective breathing patterns.
