Daun binahong mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder berupa polifenol yang sering digunakan untuk penyembuhan luka bakar dan antioksidan. Kestabilan senyawa polifenol dalam tumbuhan dipengaruhi oleh teknologi yang diterapkan setelah proses pemanenan seperti metode pengeringan. Oleh sebab itu dilakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh metode pengeringan simplisia terhadap kadar polifenol total ekstrak etanol daun binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steen). Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental. Daun binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steen) dikeringkan menggunakan dua metode pengeringan yaitu kering angin dengan suhu ruang (±25°C) dan kering oven (40°C) kemudian simplisia dimaserasi dan dipekatkan. Lalu ekstrak 100 ppm diambil masing-masing tiga sampel sebanyak 1 ml dan diuji kandungan polifenol total dengan metode kolorimetri pereaksi Follin-Ciocalteu menggunakan spektrofotometri UV-Vis dengan asam galat sebagai baku pembanding. Nilai kadar polifenol total dinyatakan dalam satuan mg GAE/gram ekstrak. Hasil: Ekstrak etanol daun binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steen) pada simplisia yang dikering-anginkan dengan suhu ruang (±25°C) memiliki rata-rata kadar air simplisia sebesar 9,17 %, rendemen 8,24 %, rata-rata kadar air ekstrak 15,55 %, dan rata-rata kadar polifenol total 38,980 mg GAE/gram ekstrak. Sedangkan pada ekstrak etanol daun binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steen) yang dikering oven (40°C) memiliki rata-rata kadar air simplisia sebesar 5,91 %, rendemen 13,55 %, rata-rata kadar air ekstrak 13,06 %, dan rata-rata kadar polifenol total 30,152 mg GAE/gram ekstrak. Kesimpulan: Kadar polifenol total ekstrak etanol daun binahong pada simplisia yang dikering-anginkan lebih besar dibandingkan dengan ekstrak etanol daun binahong pada simplisia yang dikering oven. Penyuluhan menggunakan media Booklet dapat memberikan hasil yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan anak tentang karies gigi yang di nilai dari hasil rata-rata pre-test yaitu sebesar 14,78 dan post-test yaitu sebesar 17,75. Dan hasil uji T-Berpasangan didapatkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang bermakna dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan karies gigi, hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai P yang kurang dari 0,05 yaitu 0,000. Merokok merupakan faktor risiko hipertensi yang dapat diubah. Faktor risiko ini diakibatkan oleh perilaku penderita hipertensi yang tidak sehat. Zat-zat kimia beracun seperti nikotin dan karbon monosida yang dihisap melalui rokok yang masuk ke dalam aliran darah dapat merusak lapisan endotel pembuluh darah arteri, dan mengakibatkan tekanan darah tinggi. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan crossectional. Teknik pengambilan sample yaitu purposive sampling didapatkan 105 responden Dosen dan Pegawai. Pengumpulan data berupa tekanan darah, kebiasaan merokok, jumlah dan jenis rokok didapat dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada responden. Data di analisis menggunakan uji statistik chi square dan fisher. Hasil : Terdapat 41% responden yang merokok dan 59% responden yang tidak merokok. Dari 43 responden yang merokok didapatkan p value kebiasaan merokok 0,000, lama merokok 0,002, jenis rokok 0,712, dan jenis rokok 0,379. Kesimpulan : Penelitian pada Dosen dan Pegawai Poltekkes Kemenkes Palembang didapatkan ada hubungan kebiasaan merokok dan lama merokok dengan kejadian hipertensi, tidak ada hubungan jumlah rokok dan jenis rokok dengan kejadian hipertensi. The purpose of this case study is to describe the implementation of airway management nursing in bronchial asthma patients with ineffective airway clearance at the emergency department of Bhayangkara Hospital, Palembang.The case study used is a descriptive research method, to examine the problem of treating bronchial asthma patients with ineffective airway clearance. DENGAN VARIASI KONSENTRASI CARBOPOL 940 SEBAGAI GELLING AGENT Description An account of the resource ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Gel adalah salah satu sediaan farmasi yang cukup populer karena kemudahan pengaplikasiannya, memiliki daya sebar cukup baik serta memberikan rasa dingin ketika dipakai. Carbopol 940 adalah gelling agent yang mampu membuat sediaan gel yang stabil. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menentukan konsentrasi carbopol 940 optimal dalam mendapatkan sediaan yang stabil serta memenuhi persyaratan. Pada penelitian ini sediaan mengandung minyak atsiri akar wangi (Vetiveria zizanioides L.) yang memiliki aktivitas antibakteri sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai antiseptik. Metode: Metode eksperimental digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Minyak atsiri akar wangi (Vetiveria zizanioides L.) yang diformulasikan pada sediaan gel adalah sebesar 3%. Konsentrasi carbopol 940 yang dipakai ialah 0,5% untuk formula I, 1% untuk formula II dan 1,5% untuk formula III. Formula kemudian dievaluasi pada suhu kamar dan uji cycling test meliputi pH, daya sebar, sineresis/swelling, homogenitas, warna, bau dan iritasi kulit. Hasil: pH dan daya sebar pada sediaan mengalami penurunan pada kedua uji penyimpanan tetapi penurunan tersebut tidak terlalu tinggi sehingga keempat formula masih memenuhi standar pH kulit yang ditetapkan yaitu 4,5-6,5 dan range daya sebar yakni berkisar antara 5-7 cm. Ditinjau dari sineresis/swelling dan homogenitas ketiga formula telah memenuhi syarat, serta 100% responden mengatakan bahwa tidak ada perubahan pada warna, bau serta tidak menyebabkan iritasi kulit. Kesimpulan: Minyak atsiri akar wangi (Vetiveria zizanioides L.) mampu diformulasikan menjadi sediaan gel yang stabil serta memenuhi syarat. But often surgical procedures cause postoperative pain that disrupts daily activities both physically and psychological, therefore the nurse has a big contribution in the process of decreasing post operations with nonfarmacological methods, one of which is a breathful relaxation technique and a warm compressing technique besides the existence of a method Pharmacologists in the form of administration of analgetic drugs. The design of this study was descriptive in the form of a case study with a nursing process approach consisting of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation. Samples taken as many as 2 respondents with the nursing problem of acute pain post appendictomy at the Bhayangkara Palembang Hospital in 2021. The implementation carried out in the form of deep breathing techniques, warm compressing and collaboration of analgetic drugs was obtained that the implementation was effective in an effort to decrease acute pain by post appendictomy. Seeing the results of this study, the need for nonfarmacological methods in addition to the pharmacological method in an effort to decrease post appendictomy pain.
