Multivariable analysis of this study used the multiple linear regression in order to get the prediction model incidence of depression (CI=95%).The result showed that gender and elderly activity significantly associated with the incidence of depression with a predictive model as follows: Depression=12.439-1.653*Gender- 3,993*Independence Activity. This equation model can estimate Beck Depression Index by using gender and activity (R2=0.455).Many elderly in a nursing home experience thedepression. Women are more depressed than men because of hormonal changes in the menstrual cycle associated with pregnancy, childbirth and menopause.The independence of activity greatly affects the level of depression.There is a significant relationship between activity and depression. Elderly who has lower levels of depression will be able to carry out their activities properly. Metode : Desain penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi fenomenologi deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Partisipan adalah 6 orang caregiver lansia yang mengalami penurunan daya ingat dan 1 orang kader posyandu sebagai informan kunci di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Beji Depok Utara. Hasil penelitian ini teridentifikasi 4 tema yaitu: 1) respon caregiver yang meliputi persepsi, mekanisme koping, harapan, makna pengalaman dan dampak dari peran. 2) Perilaku caregiver yang meliputi pengamatan terhadap gejala penurunan daya ingat lansia dan kegiatan merawat lansia 3) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat 4) Pelayanan kesehatan yang dibutuhkan bagi lansia. Kesimpulan : Pengalaman caregiver sangat bervariasi, dengan respon, dampak, faktor penguat dan penghambat yang berbeda. Caregiver merupakan kelompok berisiko yang perlu mendapat dukungan dan intervensi dari masyarakat maupun petugas kesehatan. This study aims to examine the determinant factors related to QoL based on the 2014 Indonesia Family Life Survey. This is a population-based cross-sectional study comprising 13 368 participants aged 15 to 64 years from 23 provinces. The analysis was carried out to construct a composite indicator of QoL. The result showed that the low prevalence of 54% among the general population needs to be ameliorated. Demographic factors (eg, age, marital status, and education), primary activities, pain, and chronic illnesses were significantly related to QoL and used to provide supporting information. Hasil: Diagnosa keperawatan keluarga yang dapat diidentifikasi adalah hambatan mobilitas fisik penderita pasca stroke berhubungan dengan kelemahan otot, kurangnya pengetahuan keluarga berhubungan dengan ketidakmampuann mengenal masalah dan risiko jatuh berhubungan dengan kurangnya kemampuan keluarga dalam memodifikasi lingkungan rumah sehat. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kekuatan otot sebesar satu skala Manual Muscle Test. Kesimpulan: Manajemen penatalaksanaan dini dengan metode yang tepat pada penderita pasca stroke dengan kelemahan otot sangat diperlukan. The purpose of this study is to test the validity of subjective well-being and to determine the changes in subjective well-being scores of the Indonesian productive age population from 2007 to 2014. Methods: This research is a retrospective cohort study using Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) data. This study examined the respondents aged 15-57 years in IFLS4 (in 2007) and then repeated measurements in IFLS5 2014. The sample of this study was 8,920 individuals. The subjective well-being is constructed from the eight proposed indicators. The subjective well-being construct test uses confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Results: From the analysis, it was found that the eight indicators had good validity (SLF>0.3) to measure subjective well-being. The mean subjective well-being score in 2007 is 1.04 and increased by 0.77 points in 2014. Conclusion: Subjective well-being can be information that complements objective well-being indicators that reflect the success of a nation's development. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lanjut usia dengan fungsi kognitif normal sebanyai 45,3%, penurunan fungsi kognitif sedang sebanyak 24,5% dan yang mengalami penurunan fungsi kognitif berat sebanyak 30,2%. Penurunan fungsi kognitif yang banyak terjadi pada lanjut usia perlu disikapi lebih lanjut dengan meneliti faktor risiko dan mengembangkan aktivitas lanjut usia yang dapat mencegah terjadinya penurunan fungsi kognitif.
