WHO (2010) melaporkan bahwa 5-25% anak pra sekolah menderita disfungsi otak minor, termasuk gangguan perkembangan motorik halus. Pada anak, keterampilan motorik halus yang harus dikembangkan seperti menulis, menggambar, memotong, dan salah satu potensi yang perlu dikembangkan juga yaitu kreativitas. Metode mind mapping salah satu upaya meningkatkan kreativitas menggunakan cara kerja otak secara alami (terutama otak kanan), dengan menggunakan imajinasi. Tujuan : Untuk Mengetahui efektivitas metode mind mapping terhadap perkembangan kreativitas menggambar anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Nurul Iman Kota Palembang Tahun 2020. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan pre-experimental design, dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel diambil dari semua populasi dengan rancangan total populasi yang termasuk kriteria inklusi berjumlah 33 responden. Hasil : Skor penilaian tingkat kreativitas menggambar anak sebelum dilakukan intervensi rata-rata dengan skor 63,36 dan setelah dilakukan intervensi rata-rata menunjukkan skor 85,94. Hasil ini menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan dalam perkembangan tingkat kreativitas menggambar anak setelah dilakukan intervensi metode mind mapping dan diperoleh hasil nilai signifikansi dengan menggunakan uji wilcoxon yaitu pvalue = 0,000 sehingga α ≤ 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang bermakna antara variabel independen (metode mind mapping) dengan variabel dependen (Perkembangan Kreativitas Menggambar) Kesimpulan : Metode mind mapping efektif dalam peningkatan perkembangan kreativitas menggambar anak pada usia 5-6 tahun di TK Nurul Iman Kota Palembang Tahun 2020 .
