Title A name given to the resource COPING MECHANISM OF CAREER WOMEN WITH BREAST CANCER Subject The topic of the resource Coping Mechanism, Breast Cancer, Career Women Description An account of the resource Introduction: Patients with cancer may experience psychological disorders such as depression, anxiety, anger, helplessness, and unappreciated, so in certain situations require defense mechanisms (coping mechanism) to oppose or resist feelings of anxiety, fear or stress that haunt her. The aim of this study was to know the coping mechanism of career women with breast cancer reviewed by phenomenology in Palembang 2016. Method: Type of this study was a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach. Total samples were 8 participants with inclusion criteria: career women, productive age range, health physic and physiologic. Independent variable was a coping mechanism, and the dependent variable was breast cancer. The instrument used the voice recorder, and interview guides. Data analyze used verbatim transcript with credibility, dependability, and confirmability. Result: The results showed that working women who have breast cancer have a coping strategy that is adjusted to the psychological condition and physical reactions of the therapy in progress. Psychologically, the coping mechanism is in the form of rejecting, drawing closer to Allah SWT, seeking the opinion of other health workers, discussing conditions with spouse and family, seeking alternative treatment and asking for doctor's direction. The coping mechanism of the body's reaction to therapy is done by taking medicine according to the rules and remember Allah SWT. Conclusions: Need the support of the coping mechanism in patients with breast cancer and nursing care approach with the pattern of coping mechanisms with the involvement of the family. Fish bones still contain nutrients the body needs, especially calcium. One of the fish bones that has the potential to be used in food processing is snakehead fish bones. Red dragon fruit is a fruit that contains high fiber and to determine the effect of adding cork bone meal and dragon fruit on the characteristics and acceptability of fresh noodles. The research design used a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 formulas and 3 replications. Data analysis used Friedman test. The results showed that P1 was the most preferred formula for the panelists. Fresh noodles with the addition of snakehead fish bone meal and dragon fruit with different proportions in each treatment had a significant effect on the abilityto taste, color and aroma of fresh noodles. The role of nurses needed in maintaining patient safety through environmental transformation and performance as the standard implementation. This study aimed to determine the relationship between characteristics of nurses and working environment with performance of nurse in patient safety application. This study used a cross-sectional study with number of samples were 113 nurses. Analysis using chi square and unpaired t-test with 95% CI. Based on the analysis of the working environment, around 59.3% were in high workloads, 54% were in good autonomy, 39.8% were in good availability of resources, 49.6% were in good aspects of leadership and management, and then 81.4% were in good performance of nurses in patient safety application. Bivariate analysis found a significant relationship between autonomous practice with the performance of nurses in patient safety application (p = 0.001) and management and leadership with the performance nurses in patient safety application (p = 0.003). The characteristics of nurses, workload and resource availability is not related to the performance of nurses in patient safety application. However, the performance of nurses in patient safety application related to how the perception of nurses regarding autonomy of nursing practice and management support and leadership in nursing. Pandemi COVID-19 memberikan dampak terhadap perilaku hidup sehat dan swamedikasi pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dampak pandemi COVID-19 terhadap perilaku hidup sehat dan swamedikasi mahasiswa Poltekkes Kemenkes Palembang dan mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan perilaku hidup sehat dan swamedikasi serta perilaku hidup sehat dan swamedikasi dengan kejadian COVID-19. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian non eksperimental menggunakan desain analitik kualitatif dengan rancangan case control. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 54 mahasiswa kasus COVID-19 dan 54 mahasiswa kontrol. Pengukuran pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji distribusi frekuensi dan uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pandemi COVID-19 memberikan dampak terhadap perilaku hidup sehat dan swamedikasi mahasiswa. Pengetahuan dan perilaku pada kelompok kasus lebih tinggi dan lebih baik dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Dan hasil uji Chi-square untuk variabel independent dengan variabel dependent didapatkan nilai p-value < 0,05 sehingga terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kejadian COVID-19 terhadap pengetahuan dan perilaku hidup sehat dan swamedikasi pada Poltekkes Kemenkes Palembang. Kesimpulan: Pandemi COVID-19 memberikan dampak terhadap perilaku hidup sehat dan swamedikasi mahasiswa. Pada kelompok kasus memiliki pengetahuan hidup sehat dan swamedikasi lebih tinggi dibanding kelompok kontrol dan perilaku hidup sehat dan swamedikasi baik pada kelompok kasus lebih tinggi dibanding kelompok kontrol. Terdapat dampak yang signifikan antara kejadian COVID-19 terhadap pengetahuan dan perilaku hidup sehat dan swamedikasi pada mahasiswa Poltekkes Kemenkes Palembang.
