Description
Practicing medication regularly is the best way for patients to take medication
regularly and to avoid recurrence. There is still not much research about
practicing taking medicine The role of the family is very important in the process
of giving medicine and healing. This research was carried out in the Bangau room
of the Ernaldi Bahar psychiatric hospital in Palembang from 3-13 April 2019.
This research method uses descriptive design with 2 clients who have the same
problem and data collection in the form of interviews, physical examinations, and
observations of patients. The results of the research factors that support the
success of the study are teraupetik communication, because communication that
goes well will be able to convey information and goals to be achieved, namely
knowing about the name of the drug, the benefits of the drug, the result of
breaking the drug, and how to use the drug with principle 5 right (True medicine,
correct patient, correct way, correct dosage, correct time) see from the results of
research with good communication can convey information about taking
medication so that it is expected to encourage patients to take medication
regularly and can reduce the recurrence rate and non-adherence to taking
