Asthma is an important chronic airway disease and is a serious public health problem in various countries around the world. Asthma can be mild and does not interfere with activity, but can be permanent and disturb activities and even daily activities. Objective To find out the application of half-sitting position to reduce congestion in asthma patients at Cecar health center, Bulang district in Central Lombok regency in 2018. This type of research is descriptive using a case study approach method. significant. RR was seen before being given a semi-fowler position in subject I RR 40 x / minute and subject II RR 35 x / minute, then the shortness of breath on both subjects decreased by RR 24 x / minute after being given a semi-fowler position. To health workers in RSUD Empat Lawang is expected to be able to apply a half-sitting position treatment in accordance with the SOP in the hospital.
