IMPLEMENTASI KEPERAWATAN SLOW DEEP BREATHING DENGAN MASALAH NYERI AKUT (KEPALA) PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI DI RUMAH SAKIT MUHAMMADIYAH PALEMBANG TAHUN 2023
Subject
Hypertension, acute pain, slow deep breathing.
Description
Background: Hypertension is a manifestation of hemodynamic imbalance of the cardiovascular system whose pathophysiology is multifactorial. Hypertension
affects 22% of the world's population, developing countries as much as 40% and developed countries 35%. The prevalence of hypertension in South Sumatra Province reached (30%) with 283,390 cases in 2019 and in 2021 it increased to 987,295 cases. Headache in hypertensive patients is caused by vascular damage to blood vessels so that pain arises as a defense mechanism for the body when tissue is being damaged, causing the individual to react by moving the pain stimulus. Acute pain can be overcome through the implementation of Slow Deep Breathing Relaxation.
Methods: Case studies were conducted with a nursing process approach with 2 case study subjects with nursing problems Acute pain (Head). Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and filling out research instruments, Slow Deep Breathing nursing implementation is carried out 6 times for 15 minutes in 3 days. Analysis is done descriptively and presented narratively.
Results: The results of the study after implementation for 3 days on both subjects with Slow Deep Breathing Relaxation Therapy found that there was an effective effect to reduce the pain scale from moderate to mild scale.
Conclusion: : With these results it is hoped that it can apply and develop the implementation of Slow Deep Breathing relaxation nursing with acute pain problems (Head) in Hypertensive patients.
