Putri, Aura (2023). Nursing Implementation of Character Origami Folding Art Therapy Against Decline Anxiety in Dengue Hemoragic Fever Children at Bhayangkara Hospital Palembang in 2023. Background : Hospitalization can cause anxiety and stress in preschoolers. This anxiety can be caused by separation, loss, bodily injury and pain. One of the therapies that does not cause trauma is the art of folding origami characters. Providing art therapy aims to reduce anxiety while being treated, besides that children can grow motivation, creativity, skills, and entertainment through folding paper. Method : This case study design uses a descriptive design in the form of a case study with a nursing care approach. Case study subjects were 2 pediatric patients DHF Grade I , patient 1 aged 6 years and patient 2 aged 5 years who experienced the same nursing problem, namely anxiety. This case study was conducted at the Bhayangkara Hospital in Palembang in 2023. The data collection technique was by observation, interviews and filling in the case study instrument for 4 days in the treatment room. Results : After the implementation of nursing implementation of origami character folding art therapy showed the results of patient I and patient II looked confused, worried, restless, decreased tension, sleep patterns and difficulty concentrating in children improved supported by measuring anxiety levels using Preschool Anxiety Scale Resived (PASR) patient I and patient II including mild anxiety. Conclusion : Overcoming anxiety problems in pre-school children requires intervention in the form of art therapy, besides that children can also express themselves through folded paper in the form of characters according to their wishes. Suggestion : It is hoped that families and future researchers can see the age before implementing and performing this origami folding art therapy for children who experience anxiety, especially children who are affected DHF.
