Background: Data for cesarean section with indications of cephalopelvic disproportion at the Palembang Muhammadiyah Hospital in 2020 as many as 88
out of 2318 and in 2021 as many as 107 out of 2111. Pain is a problem that often occurs in mothers who gave birth to cesarean section with indications of cephalopelvic disproportion due to stretching of the uterine and incisional muscles in the abdominal tissue. The purpose of this study is to reduce the pain felt by the patient so that they can move well. Methods: This type of research is descriptive
in the form of a case study. The subjects studied were 2 patients with the same nursingcases and problems, namely post cesarean section patients with cephalopelvic disproportion indications with acute pain at Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang. This study was conducted on March 8-13, 2022.
Results: After implementing the guided imagination technique (benson relaxation) nursing for 3 treatments forpost cesarean sectionpatients with indications of cephalopelvic disproportion withacute pain, it showed a significant effect on decreasing pain intensity. Discussion: The implementation of guided imagination technique
(benson relaxation) in post cesarean section patients with acute pain can be applied.
