Description
Background : Stroke is one of the most common cerebrovascular diseases, this stroke
accounts for 11.8% of total deaths in Indonesia and is the main cause of death and
disability which is predicted to increase the burden of disease and the economy due to
stroke in 2020. Methods : Types This research design uses a descriptive design in the
form of a case study. The case study subjects used in this case study were patients who
had a stroke with the problem of Risk for Ineffective Cerebral Perfusion with a total of
4 patients. This research was conducted in the emergency department of
Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang in 2022. Results : Implementation of Intracranial
Pressure Monitoring nursing (observation, therapeutic, education, collaboration) after
implementation, the results obtained in patients 1, 2, 3 and 4 problems have not been
resolved. Suggestion : The need for families and clients in knowing about stroke in
recognizing the signs and symptoms, as well as dietary rules and health education
about the disease suffered by the patient.
