Description
Background: Hypertension is one of the most common cardiovascular diseases
suffered by the community. Hypertension in general does not feel any complaints
so it is called the silent killer. The risk factors that can trigger hypertension are
divided into two factors, namely factors that cannot be controlled or changed and
factors that can be controlled. Continuous increase in blood pressure in
hypertensive patients. Methods: This type of research design uses a descriptive
design in the form of a case study, the approach used is a nursing care approach
which includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation,
evaluation and documentation. The case study subjects used were 2 of the same
patients, namely hypertensive patients with acute pain problems. This research
was conducted at Palembang Muhammadiyah Hospital in 2022. Results: After
implementation in hypertensive patients with acute pain problems from the first
day to the third day, it showed a change with a decrease in the pain scale.
Suggestion: It is expected that patients and families can implement nursing in
dealing with acute pain problems in hypertensive patients independently in order
to improve health status.
