Description
Cancer is a disease that can start in almost any organ or tissue of the body when
abnormal cells grow uncontrollably, and invade parts of the body and spread to other
organs. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that there will be 18.1
million new cancer cases and 9.6 million deaths this year. The purpose of this paper
is to obtain an overview of the implementation of clots in patients undergoing
chemotherapy with anxiety problems at Muhammadiyah Hospital in Palembang.
This type of research design uses a descriptive method in the form of a case study.
This research data was taken with basic nursing care including assessment, diagnosis,
planning (intervention), implementation (implementation) and evaluation. The
subjects of the study were 4 respondents with breast cancer with anxiety. The study
was conducted in the chemotherapy room at Muhammadiyah Hospital in Palembang.
The research was conducted by conducting interviews, observation and physical
examination. The results showed that after the implementation of Ny. L, Mrs. F, Mrs.
S and Mrs. D with cancer for one day (one day care) for anxiety, shows the patient's
anxiety has not been resolved, but shows improvement in conditions such as
decreased anxiety, decreased anxiety, and the patient looks relaxed. Looking at the
results of this study, it is hoped that with the description of this study, other
researchers can implement implementation in breast cancer patients with anxiety
problems without other problems to improve the quality of patient-focused care.
