Background: Low back pain is a part of musculoskeletal disorders that most often occurs in work activities. One of the most comfortable positions when doing an activity or job is in a sitting position. Working in a sitting position that is too long and an upright (static) position can cause stiffness in the spine, especially at the waist. In a job, each worker is expected to change body positions such as sitting upright, bending over and half sitting (Ahmad, 2014).
Method: This research design uses descriptive method. The case study subjects were taken as two respondents, namely families who work as weavers with low back pain problems in the work area of the Makrayu Palembang Health Center in 2021.
Results: The results showed that there was a significant change in the decrease in the lower back pain scale after stretching and before stretching exercises.
Conclusion: Seeing the results of this study, it is necessary to have support from health workers to do stretching exercises in dealing with low back pain in weavers in the work area of the Makrayu Health Center, Palembang.
