Background: Bronchial asthma is an inflammatory airway disease that can affect all age groups. Asthma is characterized by repeated bouts of shortness of breath and wheezing. Thus causing ineffective airway cleanness problems characterized by shortness of breath, coughing and increased mucus production in the respiratory tract.
Purpose: The purpose of writing this Scientific Paper is to get an overview of the implementation of nursing measures in bronchial asthma patients with ineffective airway cleanness problems in Level II hospitals dr. AK Gani Palembang. The implementation of nursing that can be done on the problem of ineffective airway cleaning is to regulate the semi-fowler position, help deep breath exercises, train effective cough and collaboration of drug administration through the nebulizer.
Subjects:: The subjects of the case study were two patients with the same nursing problem, namely with ineffective airway clean-up problems.
Research Method: The design of this study uses descriptive analytical method with case study exposure through nursing implementation approach in bronchial asthma patients.
Results: The results showed that the implementation of bronchial asthma nursing with ineffective airway cleansing problems given to patients is able to overcome tightness and reduce the sputum present in the patient's airway. It is recommended that the implementation of the nursing is carried out scheduled for bronchial asthma patients in the inpatient room.
