Background : Hypertension is a state of increased blood pressure characterized by a blood pressure of more than 140/90 mmHg and will give advanced symptoms to a target organ such as stroke (for the brain), coronary heart disease (for heart blood vessels). Risk factors that cause high blood pressure include old age, a history of high blood pressure.
Purpose of Case Study: The author is able to implement nursing in hypertensive patients with acute pain problems.
Case Study Method: The design of this research method uses a descriptive method in the form of a case study. Two cases were taken, namely patients who had a history of hypertension with acute pain problems at Siti Fatimah Hospital, South Sumatra Province in 2021.
Case Study Results: By conducting Pain Management Assessment, Hot compresses, Collaboration of Analgesic Administration, and Health Education on Hypertension.
Conclusion: Overcoming the problem of acute pain in hypertensive patients and there is no gap between theory and implementation.
Suggestion: It is hoped that patients and families can carry out nursing implementation in overcoming pain problems in hypertensive patients independently in order to improve health status.
