Diabetes mellitus is a disease that ranks 7th in Indonesia problem in diabetic
militus type II patient experienced by one of them is damage of skin integrity. To
overcome the damage to skin integrity experienced need to get information about
the disease and teach wound care. The design of this study using descriptive
method in the form of case studies to explore the implementation of nursing
damage skin integrity in diabetic patients. As for the subject of research amounted
to two people who were treated in the flamboyant room of palembangpusri
hospital. the study wa conducted by interview and physical examination on 28-30
June 2018. the Results of the examination showed the implementation of wound
care, collaboration of insulin injections. See the result of this study then the
patient’s family is able to do wound care at home to damage theskin’s integrity is
reduced.
