Method: The type of research used is a descriptive method in the form of a case
study to describe the implementation of five finger hypnosis in patients who abuse
drugs with anxiety problems at the Ar-Rahman Drug Rehabilitation Center Foundation, Palembang City, in March 2023. The sample technique used was purposive sampling with 3 male patients who abuse drugs who are in
rehabilitation with anxiety problems. Based on the anxiety category obtained from the results of the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale Questionnaire. Results: The implementation of five finger hypnosis was effective and showed
significant results in its implementation so that it could control the anxiety experienced and reduce the level of anxiety in the three patients. Conclusion: The implementation of five finger hypnosis is effective and has an
effect on decreasing the level of anxiety in patients who abuse drugs with anxiety

Utami, Pegi Tri. 2023. Nursing Implementation of Tepid Sponge with Hyperthermia in Children with Typhoid Fever at Palembang Muhammadiyah Hospital in 2023. Diploma III Program, Department of Nursing, Poltekkes Kemenkes Palembang. Supervisor (I): Rehana, S.Pd, S.Kep, M.Kes. Advisor (II) : Yunike S.Kep, Ns, M.Kes.
Background: Typhoid fever is a disease that is often suffered by children, especially school-age children, namely at the age of 5-14 years because they spend a lot of time outside, especially at school, so children pay less attention to personal hygiene. Hyperthermia is a symptom that often appears in patients with typhoid fever. To treat hyperthermia, non-pharmacological methods can be used, such as compresses, one of which is a tepid sponge. The general objective of this research is to describe the implementation of nursing care for Tepid Sponge with Hyperthermia in Children with Typhoid Fever to reduce body temperature.
Methods: This research is a descriptive study with a case study design, in cases of decreased body temperature using the tepid sponge technique through the nursing process approach conducted by the researcher. Data collection in this study was by measuring the child's body temperature using a thermometer and comparing the results of body temperature measurements after the tepid sponge was carried out using a body temperature comparison sheet after and after the tepid sponge was carried out.
Results: The results of the study after the implementation of tepid sponge nursing showed that the results of patient I and patient II found that body temperature improved within the normal range. What was found was that there was a significant relationship between hyperthermia and the tepid sponge in children.
Conclusion: The implementation of a tepid sponge in patients with hyperthermia can be applied because it is effective in reducing body temperature.</text>

Delfathia, Vina Fadhlia. 2023. Implementation of Laughter Therapy Nursing in the Elderly Depression at the Harapan Kita Social Institution for the Elderly in Palembang City in 2023. Diploma III Program in Nursing Department, Poltekkes Kemenkes Palembang. Supervisor (I): Imelda Erman, S.Kep.,M.Kes Supervisor (II): Sri Endriyani, S.Kep.,Ners.,M.Kep
Background: Elderly is an aging process that occurs naturally with three stages of life, namely children, adults and old age. Where every process of this incident cannot be avoided by every individual. One of the health cases that are often experienced by the elderly in Indonesia is depression. The impact that can be caused by depression such as sleep disturbances, eating pattern disorders, interpersonal disorders (irritability), interference at work, destructive behavior (using illegal drugs, alcohol or violence) and suicide. Of the several ways to deal with depression, both pharmacological and non-pharmacological, one of them is laughter therapy (humor). Methods: The data collection method used in this study was direct observation of patients with depressive disorders, before and after giving laughter therapy. Results: on client 1 when studied starting from day 1 the level of depression was 6, day 2 the client's depression score after 6 therapy was carried out, day 3 after laughing therapy was 5. Then, on day 4 the depression score obtained was 5 .Change from day 1 to day 4 depression score from 6 to 5 (mild depression). On the client 2nd day 1 the depression level on the client when studied was 5, the 2nd day the client's depression score after 5 therapy, the 3rd day after laughing therapy was 4. Then, on the 4th day the depression score obtained was 4. Changes from day 1 to day 4 depression score from 5 to 4 (minimum depression). Conclusion: After the implementation of nursing for both clients, it can be seen that memory has increased, depression levels have decreased, and knowledge levels have increased. Suggestion: after the elderly have shown signs and symptoms of depression, the nursing staff should carry out health monitoring and implement or continue the laughter therapy program so that it will be able to reduce the depression intervention score in the elderly with depression.</text>

Putri, Aura (2023). Nursing Implementation of Character Origami Folding Art Therapy Against Decline Anxiety in Dengue Hemoragic Fever Children at Bhayangkara Hospital Palembang in 2023. Diploma III Nursing Program, Department of Nursing, Poltekkes, Ministry of Health, Palembang. Supervisor (I) Jawiah, S.Pd,.S.Kep,.M.Kes. Supervisor (II) Rehana, S.Pd.,S.Kep,.M.Kes.
Background : Hospitalization can cause anxiety and stress in preschoolers. This anxiety can be caused by separation, loss, bodily injury and pain. One of the therapies that does not cause trauma is the art of folding origami characters. Providing art therapy aims to reduce anxiety while being treated, besides that children can grow motivation, creativity, skills, and entertainment through folding paper. Method : This case study design uses a descriptive design in the form of a case study with a nursing care approach. Case study subjects were 2 pediatric patients DHF Grade I , patient 1 aged 6 years and patient 2 aged 5 years who experienced the same nursing problem, namely anxiety. This case study was conducted at the Bhayangkara Hospital in Palembang in 2023. The data collection technique was by observation, interviews and filling in the case study instrument for 4 days in the treatment room. Results : After the implementation of nursing implementation of origami character folding art therapy showed the results of patient I and patient II looked confused, worried, restless, decreased tension, sleep patterns and difficulty concentrating in children improved supported by measuring anxiety levels using Preschool Anxiety Scale Resived (PASR) patient I and patient II including mild anxiety. Conclusion : Overcoming anxiety problems in pre-school children requires intervention in the form of art therapy, besides that children can also express themselves through folded paper in the form of characters according to their wishes. Suggestion : It is hoped that families and future researchers can see the age before implementing and performing this origami folding art therapy for children who experience anxiety, especially children who are affected DHF.</text>

<text>Background: Based on the Riskesdas of South Sumatra in 2021, one of the symptoms of gastroenteritis, diarrhea, has 30,862 cases in toddlers. Gastroenteritis will cause abdominal pain that will be very detrimental to the patient's well-being. In the management of pain in children it is more advisable to use non-pharmacological techniques to avoids drug dependence and effective for a long term. Slow Stroke Back Massage therapy is a complementary technique that is safe and easy to reduce pain causing a relaxing effect so the perception of pain can decrease. Methods: This study uses a descriptive design with a case studies form through the nursing process approach. The subject consisted of 2 pediatric patients who had gastroenteritis, patient 1 aged 7 years and patient 2 aged 3 years with the same problem, acute pain. This case study was conducted at the Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Palembang in 2023. The data collection technique used by observation, interviews, and filling the instruments for 3 days in the treatment room. Results: The implementation of Slow Stroke Back Massage Therapy to the both patients showed significant results. This was shown by the two patients where the pain intensity continued to decrease. In patient 1, it was a decrease to the mild pain and in patient 2 to no pain. Conclusion: The results of the implementation of slow stroke back massage therapy in both patients showed a decrease in pain levels so it was concluded that acute pain was resolved.</text>
