Title A name given to the resource Pengaruh Pemberian Puding Ubi Ungu dan Sari Kedelai Terhadap Kadar Glukosa Darah Pada Penderita Diabetes Mellitus Di RSUD Siti Fatimah Palembang Description An account of the resource Latar Belakang : Diabetes melitus merupakan sekelompok penyakit metabolik yang ditandai dengan adanya hiperglikemia disertai gangguan metabolisme karbohidrat, protein dan lemak akibat gangguan sekresi insulin, kerja insulin atau keduanya. Konsumsi makanan tinggi serat dan rendah indeks glikemik mampu memperbaiki sensitivitas insulin, menurunkan laju penyerapan glukosa, serta bermanfaat dalam pengendalian glukosa darah sehingga dapat menurunkan risiko komplikasi penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian puding ubi ungu dan sari kedelai terhadap kadar glukosa darah penderita Diabetes Melitus di RSUD Siti Fatimah Palembang. Metode : Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperiment. Analisa data ini menggunakan paired sample t-test (uji t-dependen) dan independent sampel t-test (uji t-independen). Hasil : Hasil uji statistik (Uji t-independen) perbedaan selisih rata - rata kadar glukosa darah dengan p-value 0,001 (< 0,05) dengan selisih rata-rata penurunan glukosa darah pada kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol yaitu 16,867 mg/dl menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian puding ubi ungu dan sari kedelai terhadap kadar glukosa darah pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2. Kesimpulan : Puding ubi ungu dan sari kedelai yang tinggi serat dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa darah pada pasien diabetes melitus di RSUD Siti Fatimah Palembang.
