Status gizi dan asupan zat gizi yang baik akan mempermudah penyembuhan luka dan mempersingkat lama hari rawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuistatus gizi (IMT, kadar albumin, kadar Hemoglobin) pasien prabedah, asupan zat gizi (zat gizi makro dan mikro) pascabedah dan lama hari rawat pasien bedah digestif di RSI Siti Khadijah Palembang. Desaincross-sectional dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 34 orang. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan, status gizi prabedah berdasarkan IMTsebagian besar 70,6% normal, sebanyak 41,2% mengalamihipoalbuminemia, dan anemia sebanyak 58,3%.Asupan zat gizi pascabedah baik makro maupun mikro kurang dari kebutuhan dengan rata-rata asupan sebesar 80%. Status gizi yang menyebabkan lama rawat menjadi panjang, yaitu terjadinya anemia sebesar 85,7%. Sementara asupan zat gizi baik makro maupun mikro yang kurang akan memperpanjang lama hari rawat. Berdasarkan penelitian ini disarankan untuk memberi pengawasan khusus kepada pasien serta diadakanpemberian makanan ekstra guna mempercepat proses penyembuhan luka.
