Diperkirakan 1,15 milyar kasus atau sekitar 29% total penduduk dunia akan menderita hipertensi pada tahun 2025. Penatalaksanaan hipertensi dapat dilakukan dengan terapi nonfarmakologi. Terapi pijat refleksi kaki adalah salah satu bentuk terapi nonfarmakologi pada pasien hipertensi untuk mengontrol tekanan darah yang dilakukan dengan cara memberikan rangsangan berupa tekanan pada syaraf tubuh manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi pijat refleksi kaki terhadap tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Merdeka Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimental dengan pendekatan pre-post with control group design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh penderita hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Merdeka Palembang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Besar sampel adalah 30 responden. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 15 orang untuk masing-masing kelompok intervensi dan kontrol. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terapipijat refleksi kaki dapat menurunkan tekanan darah sistolik dengan menggunakan uji Independent T-Test (p value 0,002 < α 0,05) dan tekanan darah diastolik menggunakan uji Mann Whitney (p value 0,001 < α 0,05) secara bermakna.
