Fosberg) DENGAN VARIASI KONSENTRASI FOAMING AGENT Description An account of the resource Latar Belakang: Cream shampoo merupakan sediaan kosmetik yang digunakan sebagai pembersih rambut dan kulit kepala. Hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam cream shampoo adalah kestabilan busa. Sodium lauryl sulfat (SLS) banyak digunakan sebagai foaming agent karena memiliki daya busa yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi SLS yang dapat menghasilkan cream shampoo yang stabil dan memenuhi persyaratan dengan zat aktif ekstrak daun seledri (Apium graveolens L.) dan daun mangkokan (Polycias scutellaria (Burm.f.) Fosberg). Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental, dengan ekstrak daun seledri dan daun mangkokan sebanyak 7,5% dan 2,5% sebagai zat aktif dan memvariasikan konsentrasi SLS sebagai foaming agent dengan konsentrasi 38% pada formula kontrol dan I, 36% pada formula II dan 34% pada formula III. Kemudian dilakukan evaluasi sediaan selama 28 hari penyimpanan meliputi pH, viskositas, tinggi busa, pemisahan fase, homogenitas, warna, bau dan iritasi kulit. Hasil: Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa sediaan cream shampoo selama penyimpanan 28 hari memiliki pH yang cenderung menurun dengan rentang pH 6,27-5,3, mengalami penurunan viskositas dengan rentang viskositas 47.050- 12.462 cP, dan mengalami penurunan tinggi busa dengan rentang 10,16-9,67 cm. Semua sediaan cream shampoo tidak mengalami pemisahan fase dan memiliki homogenitas yang baik, cream shampoo juga tidak mengalami perubahan warna, bau serta tidak mengiritasi kulit. Dari hasil penelitian Persentase pH saliva pada Anak Sekolah Dasar Negeri 7 Sannak kecamatan banyuasin Tahun 2018, sebanyak 3 ( 6,8% ) anak tergolong memiliki kriteria pH rendah , 218 ( 39,0%) anak tergolong memiliki kriteria pH normal, 2( 2,1%) anak tergolong memiliki kriteria pH tinggi dan tidak ada . Rata-rata skor DMF-T dan def-t pada Anak Sekolah Dasar Negeri 7 Sanna Kecamatan Banyuasin Tahun 2018 sebanyak 132( 56,2%) anak memiliki kriteria def-t sangat rendah, sedangkan DMFT sebanyak 85 (36,2%) anak memiliki kriteria sangat rendah. Hal ini karena anak yang mengalami karies lebih memlilih membiarkan gigi tetap berlubang dibandingkan menambal gigi pada Dokter Gigi atau Puskesmas serta kurangnya pengetahuan tentang pentingnya cara menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut.
