The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that there are 18.1 million new cancer cases and 9.6 million deaths that occurred this year. The purpose of this paper is to obtain an overview of nursing implementation in patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment with anxiety problems at a private hospital in the city of Palembang. Method: the type of research used is descriptive analytic. The approach used is a nursing care approach which includes assessment, nursing diagnoses, planning, implementation and evaluation. The research subjects studied were two patients with breast cancer chemotherapy. The study was conducted in the chemotherapy room. Data collection methods were interviews, observations and physical examinations on March 29, 2021-12 April 2021. The results showed that after the implementation of nursing, the provision of information, relaxation exercises and motivational support for three days was resolved the anxiety experienced by the two patients was resolved. Metode: metode yang digunakan deskriptif analitik dan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik Responden didapatkan dengan non probability sampling berjumlah 70 penderita hipertensi. Kuesioner menggunakan Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), dan kuesioner EuroQol-5 Dimension (EQ5D). Analsiis menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Kualitas tidur buruk 60%, kualitas hidup buruk 62,9% , memiliki hubungan yang signifikan kualitas tidur dengan kualitas hidup (p value 0,0005). Kesimpulan: Pendidikan kesehatan bagi penderita Hipertensi memiliki bagian penting dalam menjaga kualitas tidur dan kualitas hidup selama pandemi dan tetap melakukan kontrol rutin. The case study data were taken using interviews, observation, and secondary data tracing, namely collecting data on the status, progress notes, checklists, and medical records. Populasi perawat pelaksana pada empat rumah sakit di Kota Palembang, sampel berjumlah 139 perawat dengan purposive sampling. Penelitian dilaksanakan Januari-Maret 2019. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang valid dan reliable. Analisis dilakukan melalui univariat dengan uji proporsi dan sentral tendensi, bivariat dengan uji T independent dan regresi linier. Hasil: Penelitian mendapatkan rata-rata penerapan sasaran keselamatan pasien 147,88 (92,43%) dari nilai maksimal 160 dengan sasaran identifikasi 90,8%, komunikasi efektif 93,2%, pengelolaan obat 93,82%, ketepatan prosedur 94,00%, pengurangan risiko infeksi 91,97% dan pengurangan risiko jatuh 86,82%. Tidak ada hubungan karakteristik umur, jenis kelamin, pendidikan dan pengalaman kerja dengan penerapan keselamatan pasien (α > 0,05). Saran: Diperlukan upaya perbaikan dan peningkatan penerapan sasaran keselamatan pasien dengan sharing sejawat perawat dan interprofesi, peningkatan monitoring evaluasi manajer perawat. The role of nurses needed in maintaining patient safety through environmental transformation and performance as the standard implementation. This study aimed to determine the relationship between characteristics of nurses and working environment with performance of nurse in patient safety application. This study used a cross-sectional study with number of samples were 113 nurses. Analysis using chi square and unpaired t-test with 95% CI. Based on the analysis of the working environment, around 59.3% were in high workloads, 54% were in good autonomy, 39.8% were in good availability of resources, 49.6% were in good aspects of leadership and management, and then 81.4% were in good performance of nurses in patient safety application. Bivariate analysis found a significant relationship between autonomous practice with the performance of nurses in patient safety application (p = 0.001) and management and leadership with the performance nurses in patient safety application (p = 0.003). The characteristics of nurses, workload and resource availability is not related to the performance of nurses in patient safety application. However, the performance of nurses in patient safety application related to how the perception of nurses regarding autonomy of nursing practice and management support and leadership in nursing. Hasil: Supervisi yang baik sebanyak 33 responden (69%), sedangkan penerapan budaya keselamatan pasien yang baik sebanyak 31 responden (64,6%). Hasil uji statistik menggunakan Chi Square test menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan supervisi dengan penerapan budaya keselamatan pasien (p value = 0,006). Kesimpulan & Saran: Peran supervisi sangat penting dalam membangun budaya keselamatan pasien, sehingga diharapkan kompetensi supervisi dapat ditingkatkan melalui pelatihan dan dapat menerapkan aktivitas supervisi melalui program sosialisasi, mentoring, konseling, serta penguatan peran komite kesalamatan pasien dalam melakukan survei budaya keselamatan.
