Angka kesakitan (malaria klinis) perpenduduk di kabupaten/kota provinsi Sumatra Selatan dalam tahun 2009 tertinggi adalah dikabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu 2,2,2% (7.217 kasus), kabupaten Lahat 22,8% (7.531 kasus), sedangkan terendah dikabupaten Ogan Ilir 0,34 (1,30 kasus), dan pada tahun 2016 malaria 140 penderita (Puskesmas Tanjung Agung). Malaria ditandai oleh panas tubuh >37ºC disertai mengigil. Dalam penurunan panas dengan suhu tubuh >37ºC yaitu dengan pemberian kompres di daerah axillaris. Demam merupakan keadaan ketika suhu tubuh meningkat melebihi suhu tubuh normal (>37ºC). Demam bukan suatu penyakit, tetapi tanda yang menyertai penyakit yang berbeda-beda. Kompres merupakan metode pemeliharaan suhutubuh dengan menggunakan cairan hangat atau biasa yang bermanfaat untuk menurunkan suhu tubuh pada penderita yang mengalami demam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengggambarkan Asuhan keperawatan batita dengan malaria dalam pemberian kompres hangat di wilayah uptd puskesmas Tanjung Agung kecamatan Baturaja Barat kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu 2018.Ada 2 batita yang digunkan dalam penelitian ini adalah berdasarkan analisis batita 1&2 yang diberikan kompres hangat, rata-rata penurunan suhu tubuh sebesar strep 2-3ºC. sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompres hangat terhadap penurunan suhu tubuh pada batita di puskesmas Tanjung Agung kecamatan Baturaja Barat kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu tahun 2018 dan ada beberapa saran yang ingin penulis sampaikan bagi tenaga kesehatan harus melibatkan keluarga yang bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan keluarga tentang upaya yang dilakukan untuk menurunkan suhu tubuh dengan teknik kompres hangat. DENGAN METODE DPPH Description An account of the resource ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Tanaman wortel (Daucus carota L.) mengandung senyawa karotenoid seperti betakaroten sebagai antioksidan alami. Betakaroten merupakan suatu senyawa yang bersifat non polar sehingga larut dalam pelarut non polar seperti n-heksan. Namun ekstraksi menggunakan pelarut organik memiliki beberapa kelemahan diantaranya tidak ramah lingkungan serta ekstrak yang diperoleh berupa senyawa yang belum murni dibandingkan dengan metode isolasi menggunakan pengisolat garam kalsium yang lebih ramah lingkungan dan hasil yang diperoleh berupa senyawa murni betakaroten (Mangunsong dkk, 2019). Perbedaan senyawa yang terkandung didalam suatu sampel berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas antioksidan sampel tersebut. Peneltitan ini dilakukan untuk menentukan perbedaan aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak n-heksan dan isolat betakaroten umbi wortel. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan melakukan ekstraksi dan isolasi terhadap umbi wortel selanjutnya hasil ekstrak dan isolat tersebut dijadikan sebagai sampel dengan variasi konsentrasi 1ppm, 2ppm dan 3 ppm kemudian diuji aktivitas antioksidannya terhadap peredaman radikal bebas DPPH (2,2-difenil,1-pikrilhydrazil) menggunakan instrumen spektrofotometer UV-Visible. Serapan yang diperoleh selanjutnya di olah menggunakan program SPSS regresi linier. Hasil: Aktivitas antioksidan yang dinyatakan dalam niai IC50 dari sampel ekstrak maupun isolat berturut-turut adalah 44,78 ppm dan 73,67 ppm serta baku pembanding betakaroten sintetik (Sigma Aldrich) dengan nilai IC50 4,92 ppm. Sehingga secara statistik terdapat perbedaan aktivitas antioksidan kedua sampel tersebut, namun perbedaan tersebut tidak signifikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,263 (p>0,05). Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbandingan aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak dan isolat umbi wortel (Daucus carota L.), yaitu aktivitas antioksidan metode ekstraksi lebih baik dari pada metode isolasi. Dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 120 lembar resep. Hasil : Peresepan obat myalgia yang terbanyak diresepkan yaitu natrium Diclofenac sebanyak 65 resep dengan persentase 59,2% , meloxicam sebanyak 43 resep dengan persentase 31,8%. Jumlah kasus Myalgia paling banyak pada usia lansia awal (46-55 tahun) sebanyak 36 pasien dengan persentase 30% dan terbanyak mendapatkan resep myalgia adalah jenis kelamin perempuan dengan jumlah 68 orang dengan persentase 56,7%. Kesimpulan : Penatalaksanaan nyeri secara umum meliputi terapi farmakologis dan non farmakologis .Terapi farmakologi untuk meringankan nyeri dapat menggunakan paracetamol, ibu propen, methampyron dan antiinflamasi non steroid. Salah satu masalah fisik pada lansia adalah Nyeri Punggung Bawah (NPB) atau Low Back Pain (LBP). Metode: Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan pada dua orang subjek sebagai responden penelitian. Hasil: Dari data kedua subjek didapatkan masalah nyeri kronis dan menunjukkan terjadi penurunan rasa nyeri pada lansia setelah melakukan latihan gerak pinggul (stretching) dengan skala nyeri 6 menjadi 2 pada klien 1, dan skala nyeri 5 menjadi 1 pada klien 2. The treatment group was given warm water foot soak hydrotherapy for 6 consecutive days with a duration of 15 minutes. The analysis used was Univariate and Bivariate analysis with Wilcoxon and Mann-Withney. The study showed that the systolic blood pressure in the treatment and control groups using the Mann-Withney test was known to have a P value of 0.001 and the diastolic blood pressure of the treatment and control groups showed a P value of 0.003 where the p value < 0.05 indicates that the P value of systolic and diastolic blood pressure is smaller. from 0.05. conclusion From the results of the study that there was an effect of warm water foot soak hydrotherapy on blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension at the Harapan Kita Elderly Social Institution in Palembang. It is expected that elderly people with hypertension can use this warm water foot soak hydrotherapy as an alternative to lower blood pressure.
