Dalam penelitian ini penulis mengambil 2 orang pasien Asma Bronchiale untuk menjadi responden penelitian. Pemberian posisi semi fowler pada pasien asma telah dilakukan sebagai salah satu cara untuk membantu mengurangi sesak napas. Keefektifan dari tindakan tersebut dapat dilihat dari Respiratory Rates yang menunjukkan angka normal yaitu 16-24x per menit pada usia dewasa (Ruth, 2005). Asthma has been known for thousands of years ago, experts define that asthma is an airway obstruction disease that provides symptoms of coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath (Somantri, 2009). The aim of the authors to do this research is to analyze. Giving a semi-fowler position to reduce shortness of breath in patients with asthma bronchiale. In this case study, the author uses the Qualitative Descriptive method. Where in this case study, giving a semi-fowler position is described descriptively, that is by describing the application of a semi-fowler position in patients with bronchial asthma. In this study the authors took 2 Asthma Bronchiale patients to become research respondents. Giving a semi-fowler position to asthma patients has been done as a way to help reduce shortness of breath. The effectiveness of these actions can be seen from the Respiratory Rates which shows a normal rate of 16-24x per minute in adulthood (Ruth, 2005). Remaja yang memiliki status gizi obesitas akan berdampak pada gangguan psikososial yaitu rasa rendah diri, depresif dan menarik diri dari lingkungannya. Tujuan penelitian diketahuinya gambaran asupan zat gizi makro, frekuensi fast food dan aktivitas fisik terhadap obesitas pada remaja di SMK Methodist 2 Palembang. Jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan rancangan case control. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 42 orang dimana 21 kasus, dan 21 kontrol yang diambil dengan menggunakan metode Simple Random Sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat. Hasil analisis univariat menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang memiliki kebiasaan mengkonsumsi asupan zat gizi makro lebih untuk energi (54,8%), protein (40,5%), lemak (52,4%), karbohidrat (59,5%), memiliki kebiasaan sering mengkonsumsi fast food (69%) dan memiliki kebiasaan melakukan aktivitas ringan (42,9%). Dan hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa siswa obesitas lebih banyak mengkonsumsi asupan zat gizi makro lebih untuk energi (85,7%), protein (81%), lemak (90,5%), karbohidrat (95,2%), fekuensi fast food sering (90,5%) dan melakukan aktivitas fisik ringan (71,4%) bila dibandingkan dengan siswa yang tidak obesitas. Diharapkan untuk pihak sekolah agar melakukan kegiatan penimbangan berat badan secara rutin dalam rangka pemantauan pertumbuhan, perlu diadakannya penyuluhan gizi seimbang, dan memberikan edukasi tentang bahaya konsumsi fast food dan snack secara berlebihan. Sebagian besar obat tradisional yang terdaftar di BPOM RI adalah kelompok jamu, di mana pembuktian dan keamanannya dipercaya secara turun-temurun. Diare yang disebabkan oleh bakteri E.coli dapat diobati dengan suatu antibiotik. Namun, penggunaannya yang terus menerus meningkat dapat menimbulkan berbagai masalah. Oleh karena itu peneliti ingin melakukan penelitian terhadap 4 jamu yang berbeda baik zat aktif, merek, dan bentuk sediannya terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan dengan cara mengukur diameter zona hambat pada aktivitas antibakteri jamu untuk pengobatan diare terhadap bakteri penyebab diare Escherichia coli. Pengujian aktivitas antibakteri dilakukan dengan metode difusi agar yang dibuat dengan berbagai konsentrasi dimulai dari konsentrasi 90%, 80%, 70%, 60%, dan 50%. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil uji kruskal wallis didapatkan hasil bahwa keempat sampel tersebut tidak memiliki perbedaan efektifitas yang signifikansi p=0,278(p>0,05). Daya hambat terbesar yang diukur pada masing-masing jamu adalah jamu D sebesar 13 mm, jamu A sebesar 12 mm, jamu B sebesar 8 mm, dan jamu C sebesar 5 mm. Kesimpulan: Dari hasil penelitian yang didapat tentang uji aktivitas beberapa jamu untuk pengobatan diare terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli dapat disimpulkan bahwa sampel yang memiliki daya hambat terbesar adalah sampel jamu D pada konsentrasi 70% sebesar 13 mm. Low self-esteem can be caused by health problems, which are linked to poor interpersonal relationships and an increased risk of depression. As a result, low self-esteem is accompanied by negative feelings which are the root cause of loss of self-confidence and characterizes weak self-esteem. The purpose of this study was to find out how the picture of the implementation of positive affirmation therapy to reduce depression levels and increase low self-esteem. Methods: The type of research used is descriptive in the form of a case study to explain the implementation of positive affirmation therapy in depressed patients with low self-esteem problems in the Ariodilah Health Center Palembang area and there are 3 research subjects to be studied, namely depressed patients with low self-esteem problems. The place of research is in the area of the Ariodillah Health Center in Palembang, South Sumatra Province. Description An account of the resource Plak ialah salah satu akibat dari penyakit ketika kesehatan gigi dan mulut terabaikan. Penggunaan pasta gigi dalam mengontrol plak secara kimiawi ialah salah satu teknik dalam mengoptimalkan kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Komponen dalam pasta gigi yang efektif dan aman digunakan sebagai antibakteri adalah salah satunya penggunaan ekstrak herbal seperti cengkeh. Cengkeh memiliki kandungan eugenol, fenol, dan flavonoid yang dapat menurunkan skor plak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbanding menyikat gigi menggunakan pasta gigi herbal yang mengandung cengkeh (Syzgium aromaticum) dan pasta gigi non herbal terhadap penurunan skor plak. Metode penelitian ini ialah true eksperimental research dengan rancangan two group pre-post test. Total sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 40 orang. Menurut temuan, hasil yang diperoleh pada penggunaan pasta gigi herbal cengkeh (Syzgium aromaticum) mengurangi skor plak rata-rata sebesar 1,56, dibandingkan dengan penggunaan pasta gigi non herbal, yang mengurangi skor sebesar 0,97. Nilai P < 0,05 menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok dalam hal penurunan skor plak (berdasarkan T -test, diketahui nilai uji statistik p = 0,001). Didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa pada penggunaan pasta gigi herbal cengkeh (Syzgium aromaticum) memiliki penurunan skor plak lebih besar daripada penggunaan pasta gigi non herbal.
